    Tiger Tool 10105 is great to pull those U joints than the ball joint tool.

    Don’t shave the 4wd hub , do the same thing you did for the seal , pry the axle shaft out the snap groove will come out , it’s made that way for a reason I was amazed when I found it ou😂

    I ended up using a 3 jaw bearing puller reversed and screwed the centre hard into the back of the jaws then using a press, pressed the whole lot out. Need a press for this method though. Also I replaced the rotors on mine, man what a job, required a lot of pressure in the press to push the studs home!

    I put my knuckle back on with the ball joints before I realized how tricky the axle was to seat. So I placed a toilet paper tube over the axle splines and that seemed to keep it from getting dirty until it was seated. I guess we'll see how it goes...

    So I'm replacing the driver side axel on what I believe is a Dana 50 front end and unlike all the other front ends I've takin apart this axel don't want to slide out it will move about an inch but then stops with a clunk any ideas? Sounds almost like there is a C pin in the pumpkin but after I opened it up there is nothing on the end of the driver axel but there is one on the other side so what can I do?

    First off great video.
    I am doing a 95 f250 with a 460 in it. Everything you did in the video. Only my hubs and clips are a little differnt. My wheel bearing was bad and it caused like 3 clips/washers to be ground into chunks. I have the 2 same axle nuts but I have like 3 washers and 2 clips. And I can't find anything on how or what order or if there's any special way to install them. I got the clip rebuild kit and it has like 9 parts in it. Dosent do me any good if I'm guessing on the order to pit them in . Wondering if you could help.
    Also wondering if I can pull the clip in the diff for the passenger side without dropping the entire diff?

    • @fuelishgarage6587
      @fuelishgarage6587  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      thank you
      you can't remove the clip without pulling the diff unless you modify the axle but will still require you to remove it to do that
      and my wheel bearing nuts only had the one washer, I'm not sure what's up with yours hopefully someone on here can shed some light

      @@fuelishgarage6587 actually when I took the good side off to do the other u joint it had the same parts as you. Best I could tell someone threw in some clips as spacers. So I just left them out. Seems to drive fine. Couldn't of did it without this video.

      @@fuelishgarage6587 oh yeah one more random question. My truck looks crooked when riding behind it. I had frame inspected and it is all good. Alignment is good. I can let go of wheel at 70 and it has no drift or pull. It has a replacement bed on it. I didn't put it on. Could it be its on crooked or maybe something else?

    • @fuelishgarage6587
      @fuelishgarage6587  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if its just the bed that looks off check the spacers its sitting on and you can loosen the bolts for the bed to adjust it

    I’m trying to do my rotors on my 1995 f250 4x4 Dana 50. It has warm premium manual locking hubs on it. They were in the truck when I got it. Anyways I expected my spindle nut to look like yours, with the 4 intended slots. But mine only has 1 groove?!? Can anyone help me out on how I can remove this spindle nut? I’m baffled

    • @fuelishgarage6587
      @fuelishgarage6587  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wipe all the grease out, might be covering them, not sure why It would only have one slot unless someone worked on it prior.
      A picture of it would help give you ideas to remove it. Worst case is chisel or cut them off and replace them. Hope it works out for you lmk.
