Drum Brakes complete guide

A complete guide on how to save you money by doing your drum brakes yourself. I'll be doing this job on a 93 f250 but is very similar to all drum brakes. Dropping the front end on this truck in the next video.

I have a 95 f250 with the Dana 50 and my hub is loose but haven’t ripped it apart to see if those nuts are what’s causing it to be loose but my question is do they sell them anywhere with rotor already attached or are they separate and where can I find them I’m new to these trucks any help would be greatly appreciated

I just did the same swap but a bit differently on my channel. Using the fourth GEN u bolts and spring plate was definitely the way to go. Overall was a very quick and easy swap. Only took about 10 hours. Thanks for the inspiration.

Noob here, I can't seem to find a concrete answer on this, are the terms "IFS" and "TTB" are referring to the same OBS front 4x4 setup?

Ive had several of these trucks with the Dana 50 never found the love of the 50 but I never did a full rebuild thats why I ask was it worth it. Thanks!

1:59 My thoughts exactly. Filling a differential and it passes gas AND smells like quite a bit of sulfur, and sometimes rotten anchovies for the limited slip folks, I always tell the bottle "you're excused".

So I'm replacing the driver side axel on what I believe is a Dana 50 front end and unlike all the other front ends I've takin apart this axel don't want to slide out it will move about an inch but then stops with a clunk any ideas? Sounds almost like there is a C pin in the pumpkin but after I opened it up there is nothing on the end of the driver axel but there is one on the other side so what can I do?

I ended up using a 3 jaw bearing puller reversed and screwed the centre hard into the back of the jaws then using a press, pressed the whole lot out. Need a press for this method though. Also I replaced the rotors on mine, man what a job, required a lot of pressure in the press to push the studs home!
