Kyla is not yet popular among the reactors. Only some knows her. She is the Philippine's Queen of RNB. Her runs are very hard to do. And this cover proves that she can do even more. Always pushing herself and bringing new to the table. She is 20 yrs in the local entertainment industry and she sounds so polished and very heartfelt. She is married to a basketball player (PBA). kyla's usually being criticized for using throaty high notes since most pinoys prefer loud belting. but since her genre's rnb and soul she sounds like one of them black gospel singer...
yeah she is mostly curbing and using back vowels, belting are front vowels and more louder generally speaking due to the inherent nature of them. I think Kyla is absolutely fantastic, I am already a huge fan of her :)

@@jvgonzaga90 I think he refers to it as vowels that are dark sounding, and were in backwards placement. Like modifying the vowels and adding more O into it.
I can say that you yourself is a strong singer. Knowing your strength and capability and admitting to what is higher than your skill is definitely a sign of a mature musician. Good job.

What Ive learned here in our school of music. We should not make part deliveration of keys from male and female singers. I believe classification of D minor from male and female could be tricky with speaking voice comparison 😁 i still stick to D on second voice cause I grew up on Kylas era since I was a kid.
