I got mine yesterday, and I think it's pretty neat that it's made entirely of wood. The unfinished wood underneath is perfect for customization, whether it's applying some stain and polyurethane or wood burning something onto the back or whatever I decide to do to it. The unfinished wood on the bottom of the planchet is perfect to apply my own smooth surface to as well, maybe even some felt so it doesn't scratch the board. Yeah, I like how raw it looks vs. Looking like it was mass produced in a factory in China. Now...let's go summon some demons lol!!
I think I got ripped. There is no authentication that Trey had designed the boxset. The back of the board. They triple the crowd funding by 300% . I've been into Morbid Angel for about 35 years, & the quality of this is poor. I wouldn't have purchased this spirit board if I knew that they were going to make it so cheap looking. Money is hard these days, so when you buy something, you should get your money's worth.
I'd imagine that a lot more people who purchased the Spirit-box would be bummed out a bit. Mine is going to stay on my shelf.

I think I forgot about them saying Trey designed it. But yeah, I agree with you on everything. Mine will be staying in the box. 🤣
