    • @DiddyBohlen

      It is true though. He is at the collapse of his rich lifestyle. He is able to buy everything he wants, go on vacation multiple times per year, got multiple expensive cars in the past few years and that's not even it. Some people recently really started digging into his finances and found out that he makes thousands every month. He could comfortably live if he wouldn't refuse to give anything up.

    • @IsawUupThere
      @IsawUupThere 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah this blows my mind. I'm obviously a super spoiled euro kid that didn't have to pay for school so I understand my privileges but if you really need a car and you're short on money. Buy the cheapest used car that still passes inspection and when it dies, you buy a wrench and a hammer and try your hardest to fix that shit. It was dumb for me to buy a car when I did but at least I made sure I could pay cash and I put 2k aside for repairs, fines, maintainance, and I ran through that money in like 2 years just through bad luck. Buying a car you can't even afford is such a massive gamble. Don't do it, kids. I could "afford" 3 cars paid in cash right now, and I ride a scooter, and that's why I have the cash.

      He was crying about his back for years and claimed that he could only drive for a short amount of time and not on the highway. Why even buy multiple expensive cars if you rarely drive them? You can easily tell that it's just about buying something expensive and not the actual value it would have in his life.

Sure it's rattlecan flat black and the block heater connection is sweating coolant a little.. But for 50 bucks, and it passed the MOT twice. It has been a good reliable car for that price..
    Considering that my moms brand new citroen from the dealership has had all kinds of problems that were over a thousand bucks to fix like broken windshield.. Brake rotors fucked.. ect...
    But my micra? I don't even bother changing the oil becuase the oil is more expensive than the whole car.. Still runs and when it stops running, i'll sell it for scrap metal and get 100 bucks for it which is 50 bucks more than i paid for it.
    Ultimate win win daily car.

      I bought a used pickup for 3k nearly eight years ago. I've put enough mileage on it to travel entire united states nearly three times over. With all the minor repairs and maintenance I've had done on it up to this point around 4k-5k (Tires ain't cheap lol).
      So at most, I've spent 8k on a reliable vehicle that I out right _own_.
      Meanwhile my next door neighbors do the nearly the same bullshit DSP does: Buy a brand new luxury lemon fart of a vehicle that: A.) Consistently breaks down in at most inconvenient of times and in the most catastrophic of ways...And B.) Live in constant fear that their car is going to be repoed at any moment due their missing a payment on car loan with insane interest rate.
      And the sad thing is that'll they'll tell, no _brag_ to you that this personal hell they got from the dealership was the deal of the century and how they saved a ton of $$$ on a package deal on extended car warranties and roadside assistance and oh my goodness tell him about the leather seats!

      Oil is more expensive than the whole car? I don't know where you're buying oil, but the last time I changed the oil in my car, the oil was $12 for the cheapo store brand stuff and $25 for the name brand high end stuff. And filters are $4 to $10.
      I get that you don't want to sink any money into a cheap car, that's fine. Just saying you're getting ripped off on motor oil if you're spending $50, let alone more than that.

I brag to my friends on how CHEAP the car was and how amazing it runs, I wouldn't want to brag about how I'm in a pit of debt for a 2017 luxury car lol

      Wrong. Never buy a used car from a dealership. You get none of the benefits of a new car, and you pay substantially more than you would from a private sale. Used car dealerships are notorious for not doing their due diligence to ensure the vehicles they sell are in good condition.
      I would either buy a new car or buy a used vehicle from a private seller. You have to come prepared to negotiate. Be prepared to walk away. Anytime you buy a used vehicle, you take the risk of assuming the consequences of someone else's poor decisions regarding the repairs or maintenance of said vehicle.
      Unless you are willing to take on a money pit, just get a new car. You can get a 2020 Toyota Corolla for 13k-14k if you can negotiate worth a damn.

    • @Cavs191
      @Cavs191 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Darth Shredrax it’s almost never over a year though. Even if you barely drive every two years is the absolute minimum for changing ur oil. It really should be done once a year for most cars. It gets thicker the older it is and that is bad for your engine.

    • @JesseS.
      @JesseS. 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok so oil DOES break down FASTER from heavy use however used oil has acids and corrosive stuff, it also gets contaminated with water its just not good for the same oil to be in your engine for a long time when its been exposed to combustion gasses

    • @Demonlord468
      @Demonlord468 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont know who has informed you that you can go 1 year on ANY fucking oil change but they are so so wrong.. And following this advice will surly leave you with a nice expensive yard ornament at some point... Conventional oil is every 3K miles or 3 months whichever comes first.. Yes if you do not hit the 3K mile mark but say you dont drive much either so you dont even put 4K miles on the car in a year? You STILL need to change that oil if its conventional every 3 months... Synthetic Blend gives you at about 4-6 months MAX with less driving and around 5-6K miles per change. = Full synthetic they say 7.5K... i still due to personal exp and preference do not suggest going over 6-7K simply because of how an internal combustion engine works as what oil changes in my exp look and smell like at those mileage thresholds. Ive seen what oil looks like with hardly any miles but the oil has been sitting for a long long time and likwise oil with extreame amounts of miles in a short time.. And thats what i go by the most what does this oil look and feel and smell like at those mileages. Do enough oil changes under enough conditions on enough cars and you start to see very clear patterns. Which indicate cheaping out on your oil change is NOT a good place to skimp on servicing costs.
      Going over 6 months without an oil change even on full synthetic is a recipe for disaster. One of the biggest reason being is Gasoline ALWAYS making its way into the oil system in very small amounts every time the engine cycles pushing past the piston rings. This minuscule amount is still enough to break down the viscosity in the oil to the point its no longer doing what it is suppose to do... lubricate. Which if there's not proper lubrication shit starts the break down slowly. All this isn't something you will have occur without weeks or months but years of improper servicing..
      Thats why oil change records are so important these days on used cars.. IF the car has not seen serviced like it was suppose to chances are that car will not last near as long as cars that have been serviced as they are suppose to. Some manufacturers suggest slightly different suggestions which is fine.. go by that. If your BMW says its ok to go 6 months on the specific oil it states to be used? Use that specific oil and yes you should be fine with that 6 months. problems arise when you deviate from either of these.. Say going over 6 months on that right oil or changing at 6 months but not using the suggested oil. If your manufacturer suggest something any different from the norm? Follow it to the letter. This is also why some more expensive high end cars must be serviced at the approved shop to insure this high end car is going to last and that nothing in the servicing is being skipped or changed in any way. Also for keeping records on this for resale.
