    Happy to have found and subscribed to your YT, all because of this series of OB-4 videos that I’ve been especially obsessed with… you know what’s cool and what’s happenin’! Thanks for tolerating my comments, etc. 😅 ✌️

    Hi! I just came across your video, this is amazing! Quick question: Is this direct input from your guitar or line out from an amp and then into the OB4?

    • @mattoverse
      @mattoverse  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I am running the guitar into a a Boss Katana Mini amp and then headphone out on that into the line in on the OB4

    What is that crazy minimal box? It reminds me of the obelisk from 2001. Chills.

    I believe I know the answer but you can’t have it looping and also play live thru it, correct? It’s either live or loop but not both. So unless you have another speaker(like the one in your katana) you can’t use a modeler into this, get a loop, and play over your loop.

      Yes, you are correct, when the loop is playing that is the only output coming out of the OB-4 speakers and the audio at the input is not passing through. In this am just using the Katana Mini as guitar pre-amp into the OB-4 which actually cuts of the internal Katana speaker so, yes to be able to play over the OB-4 loop you would want to split your instrument signal into another amp etc.

      @@mattoverse thank you! I’m going to be using a THR30 and the line outs allow the internal speaker to also be used so I can loop on the OB-4 and still play thru the THR. Thanks again for the quick answer! Mine comes Thursday.

      @@Richiez22908 Nice! Maybe I need to try a THR30 because having that extra output is nice

    is there latency using the aux input of the ob-4?

    • @mattoverse
      @mattoverse  24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      No input latency at all no, just straight out the speaker. Need some sort of preamp for running a guitar into it.

    Does it work nicely with guitar playing? I am interested to boy one of these for my OP-Z but also to use my HX Stomp with it :)

    • @mattoverse
      @mattoverse  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, as long as you have preamp of some sort, I'm sure it would be a good pairing with an HX Stomp

    Hey ! Nice guitar looping demo. Can you play over your guitar loop ?

    how did you get it to work like an amp? i swear people said there's no line in

    • @mattoverse
      @mattoverse  ปีที่แล้ว

      It has a line in but need some sort of pre-amp to run a guitar into it. In this case I am running the guitar into a Boss Katana Mini and the headphone output of that into the line in on the OB-4
