Also, I'm glad that they at least managed to add Abel in the story mode as an NPC. They managed to make him very helpful to the others and somewhat finish his arc when it comes to Shadaloo.

I think it’s part of his charm, he’s a goofy luchador who wants to be a good chef but sucks at it, despite that he can kick some serious ass, idk I just think he’s a fun character, plus I like seeing a fighting game character who shares my ethnicity & love of cooking
Zangief paired with El Fuerte would’ve been perfect to have against King & Marduk in SF X Tekkem, at least El Fuerte makes more sense as a partner for Zangief than Rufus imo

Really hoping El Fuerte makes a comeback in SF6 or at least another SF game, outside of Juri (obviously), most of the SF4 newcomers weren’t too well received from what I’ve heard, characters like Rufus & Abel especially, but I think there’s so much potential for El Fuerte in this franchise & they just aren’t taking advantage of it, the only SF4 newcomer to be in more than 1 game is Juri, making it into SF5, SF6, & even Super Smash Bros Ultimate as a Spirit, to get back on point I just love El Fuerte, he’s my 2nd main in SF4 besides Cody, here’s hoping “The Hurricane of the Gulf of Mexico” El Fuerte makes his grand return sooner rather than later
