The first new atv I ever had was a purple n yeller 1995 Yamaha Blaster. I was one happy kid. My dad was driving me home from the dealership with that diamond in the bed of his 1991 z71. As we pulled into town I reached over and laid on the horn trying to show it off. It was a great Lil bike
Best trick I've found for problem pilot jets is a bread tie or trash bag tie. Melt the coating off and the wire is pretty strong for it's size and is small enough to fit through even the smallest pilot jets. It's even smaller than the finest tip cleaner on normal sets
I love my 1988 blaster but it had low idle and kinda of low power in 5th and 6th gear at some points but other then that it’s a good bike after all i got it for 600 bucks it runs like a champ ride her everyday
I like the newer blaster with old hood and headlight...for the reason that p3 and up have hydraulic disk brakes uo front and in the rear. But I have a 97 and 96 blaster and want to do the front and rear conversion for brakes on them both but I have not found out where u get the read hydraulic conversion because the older ones don't have the mount for the master on them.
How many times have we launched a pilot jet into orbit trying to blow through it with compressed air?? 🤘 Always disappears into the same place the 10mm sockets go 🤷♂️
Sure wish you were closer to Lexington Indiana. I have an 88 all original. I bought it from a guy that said it ran great. got it home literally rode it twice and it locked up tighter than a lid on the pickle jar.
Dude I love watching your videos you give more info on things than any other person…. Also I put all different size main Jett in my Blaster and I never should have bought a Vito’s flat slide carb but I did, try a230 main Jett and for some reason a 160 works best, she’s sputtering a little in 3rd gear , I did air mixture tuning … What do you recommend ? I also have larger piston and cylinder….
I just bought my first banshee for 4500 guy told me it was in perfect condition I brought it home check compression both sides are at 90 does that mean I need a top end rebuild
I have a blaster for my son and my buddy has one for his daughter. He has been fighting a hanging idle issue for quite some time. He went as far as switching to a lectron carb and is still having problems with it. I noticed my son's bike doesn't want to idle down very well either. Is this just a blaster thing or should I be concerned about an underlying problem? Please don't say crank seals.
Either case seals or reed boot leaks either way leakdown test will confirm. Or even starting fluid while its running spray around engine side of carb and intake boot etc
I have a 2002 blaster and I took off the air box lid and I was told to re-jet my carburetor my main jet is stock when I re-jet do I go up in size or down in size
What brand and size fuel line do you use for replacement. Where do I get it. I have blasters , warriors, and a wolverine. They all need fuel line. I bought some blue stuff and it seems to get a cloudy like coloring to it real fast and gets real hard

Nice, I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that. Works pretty good on all the dirty jets I've dealt with.

Seems like that full pipe gives her a snapier power band. She's a runner! Way to go.

I sure like the new style headlight better tbh
Im picking up this exact bike tomorrow. Starts, but bogs when you give it throttle. $800. Imma get all up in there
Thats a deal!
Blasters are so much better with a YZ 250 engine. Going liquid cooled makes a big difference during summer. The extra hp never hurts either.
Has it been done?
Loved my Blaster, fun little quad to ride for sure.
I like the twisty top screwdrivers also.
Same for the little ones here !!
solid feedback , per usual .
Thanks

Looking for a good 250R. What are they going for?
Damn, you got me wanting one now. What year is this one??
05
Why not pressure wash carb while still in atv?
You can but may have to do it again when off.
I need that exhaust lol
Pretty decent!
Do you prefer an oil injection delete with 2 stroke mix
Or the original oil tank In it?
It’s good for a stock machine, but If it’s modded in any way, ditch the injection and pre mix
Is that stock?
What's up
Happy new yesr
texas there comes oil from? i mean that is what u see in the movies :)
I always used Sunoco 2cycle?! 😂 Small engine, outboard motor, etc.?!!
