I love Goodra so much. I had one in gen 7 named Slimillie and she was a fun Pokémon to use. I gave her an Assault Vest with the moves Dragon Pulse, Sludge Wave, Infestation, and Flamethrower (would occasionally turn it into other moves) and on a rain team.
I consider this a win because homeboy brought Uberluna and it got bodied.
I love how these videos focus on one specific Pokemon rather than a team I can't get enough of these. This is my 20th video in 3 days keep it coming
I loved that you were 'counting' on Rock Blast busting through the Sub and knocking you down to berry range, only for them to constantly miss. And then they ended up landing two back to back Focus Blasts (I could never) and a Hurricane on top of it.
The RNG givith, and the RNG taketh away.
I always forget that Goodra is THE Gen 6 dragon. I always remember Noivern more.

This just makes me wish Pokemon would add a Physical Assault Vest. There are so many Pokemon that could benefit massively from that.
No way. There are already enough way to take physical attacks. Intimidatie and burn are two of them

I've been using Goodra a lot on the OU ladder to reasonable success around the 1400ish level, really enjoyable set to watch
I feel like that Furret set could run a Focus Sash, though I don't know how crucial the Silk Scarf boost is

Goodra is my favorite Pokemon and i use it in my Pokemon gym team with other pokemon such as;
-Goodra
-Jolteon
-Politoed
-Swampert
-Gyarados
- Cloyster/Tentacruel
I used this team in every gen that it was possible in. I love water types, so i make a gym team every time i play, and i dont care that most of these mons aren't that strong. i just love them.

Could you do some double battles in the lead up to the Indigo Disk? The 2nd half of the DLC is going to have lots of tough double battles so seeing some team compositions and strategies would be great!
Ah goodra. I'll never forget the first time you encountered one in a playthrough and promptly named it (after it evolved ofc since you thought goomy was already the perfect name) "SlimeShady" was absolutely perfect for my boi

I know you won't probably won't see this message. But because of you I started playing comp Pokémon since X/Y and my favourite unusual/haydunn inspired Mon was a Choice band physical sap supper goodra. Still run it in scarlet/violet occasionally, love the dude and catches some people off guard.

gives it a ground weakness and a psychic weakness, but grass is now double resisted (useless if ur using sap sipper) and although fairy is now weak to it and hits it for neutral damage, it also can do super effective damage to grass types now, i still dont know if it will be useful. i did this all for nothing.. well, if you guys can come up with something reply please

you can make goodra better by using a few doohickeys to increase it's overall power and make it more fun pokemon to use in battle?
good to know since i actually love goodra as a pokemon
I like how they missed a couple Rock Blasts which have 90% accuracy, but connect with all but one of their 70% accurate moves.

Buddy has the best luck in the world with those low accuracy moves lol. Would be cool to see Ninetails. I can never make it a successful drought Pokémon cause of how fragile she is.

If they had made Goodra a dragon/fairy type (like they should have since it exudes fairy-like whimsy) I wonder if it would be in the meta. Would a dragon that is immune to dragon moves be too broken?

Your pacing is super good. Most narrations are live why do you do post narrate? I know you and the rest of the community did it in gen 4 but we are in gen 9 now?

Great vid. Nice to put out your strategy and how to deal with different situations. But, this is the 2nd vid ive seen you put empolean against kommo-o. Stop it he gets one shot every time. Open with him instead
