I'm surprised there was nothing from devilman on the list, devils pretty much put in as much torture as possible before they kill someone. When Amon fought Devilman, Amon absolutely dawged on him for most of the fight. Amon put so many holes in devilmans wings that they looked like cheese from tom and jerry then beat his ahh some more, broke his back and dislocated his shoulders, ripped one of his wings off and to put the cherry on the cake he started stomping on the wound. Then at the end, Devilman got a hole punched through him, so he held onto Amon's arm while it was still sticking through him and beat him to death with his bare hands. This is like the average death in a fight between two devils in Devilman. (They just torture and rip each other apart.)

Bondrewd was an amazing antagonist due to his charisma and design. His cartridges were as messed up as he was cool; that is to say, VERY messed up. The fact that they were LIVING orphans who were reduced to a brain and the necessary organs to keep the brain functioning was already messed up, but their purpose was significantly worse. The scary part is that his plan actually worked, allowing him to retain his humanity when ascending past the sixth layer. Just like Nanachi, he gained a bestial form while retaining who he is, rather than being reduced to a pile of mindless meat and blood like literally every other poor unfortunate fool who tried to go up. Bondrewd really did love Prushka though. She was his daughter, after all. Hell, we saw how he raised her from a feral orphan to an intelligent young teen, and she unmistakably loved him back as family. That's why it hurt so bad when we saw her cartridge.
I hate Bondrewd so much I'd stick him into a nuclear reactor, close the lid and let it work at 100% power just to make sure he's thoroughly cooked for days to get rid of him.
Not to mention, he genuinely sees every orphan he experimented on as a necessary sacrifice for the progression of humanity and goes as far as committing each and every name of these nameless orphans to memory.
The worst part of Subaru's death(s) is that there is no lag time between when he dies and respawns, his memory intact of the horrors of the moments leading up to it. In that instance, he felt every single last bite of his flesh being eaten, even so far as feeling them go up and down his esophagus. It wasn't until the last bite that cut into his head that finally ended his torment. The only thing worse, IMHO, is the treatment of the Eight Fingers in Overlord. Although the Workers who entered Kyouhouko's room are killed when his cockroach family devours them, the Fingers are healed back to full health and devoured over and over, until they're compliant to Nazarick. Although they won't be on this list since they live, the effects are obvious to see in season 4, when the remaining living Fingers are all gaunt and skinny, suffering from PTSD of the continual torture, unable to eat because the food going down their throat reminds them of the ravenous horde of cockroaches doing the same.
Subaru’s death should’ve been #1 in my opinion. The Novel states that the rabbits crawled through every hole to eat his organs from inside out and he was conscious during the entire time until they finally ate his brain, one of the last things the rabbits ate

Fun fact, top 12 is one of the most tame higurashi deaths, rika (the blue haired girl) is a time traveler and she dies at the end of every loop by takano who opens rika's stomach and leaves her to be eaten by crows Also, right after the "rika stabs herself" scene there's ANOTHER death that's both extremely sad and extremely gruesome, if you want to watch it just search "shion kills satoko"

A giant shown while eating a human being alive? That's genuinely horrifying, what they were thinking when they animated that, that's really hard to see
If u think that's bad just watch 'Amon:the Devilman apocalypse'. It's like 45 minutes of pure carnage, you can watch it free on youtube. But it's very violent and gruesome, not really the art that makes the deaths seem horrendous but how they died. Right now, lots of "brutal deaths" are just deaths that have good art so you see lots of details, but the average Devilman death makes those look like a children's show. I have no idea how it has no age restrictions put up by TH-cam.
If you thought #1 was the most disgusting death... You have no idea... Look up Kayo Suzuki from the Island of Giant Insects... Her death is the definition of disgusting and horrifying! It starts off similar to Ai Inou's death except Kayo is violated by botflies (also known as Gadflies)... Ai's insides were sucked out of her body. Kayo was turned into a pod and then exploded...
I feel like The Guyver should have been on here, either the original OVA or the newer version, having the control medal pulled out and your body eating itself alive, not exactly the most pleasent of deaths to watch. Couple that with the fact that the alien known as the Guyver then gets up and squeezes the life out of Enzyme to then be disintegrated further by his blood which destroys Guyver armor and thus turns into a bloody goop. Should have at least got an honorable mention xD
Damn. This was prwtty good! I am overjoyed to see Idaten Deities Know Only Peace getting a shout out, even if it just for that poor NEET's resourceful death. Also, Made in Abyss, Shield Bro(Best Pope death eva!), and Re: Zero(anime-onlys are lucky they didn't see EXACTLY how that ended!) all have some unique unpretty depictions of final moments.
Cell is so annoying. Hellsing had some pretty gruesome deaths too. Blood C is a really messed up anime. Loved it. Love Kurama, he's a total badass when you piss him off. Enjoyed it, thanks.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
There's a book I started reading that has an absolutely horrifying death in it. It's called Kaiju Battlefield Surgeon. I can't remember what exactly was the full details but the person put on this ritual wpuld have 50 point of them pretty much sliced apart in horrifying ways. It was a ritual done on demons so as to prove the person performing it has cleansed their soul and is allowed entry into heaven upon death. The demon is also purified and allowed entry in the process. I remember stuff such as a man having his dick cut in half and balls cut open, eyes taken out and cut while still attached, it's a gruesome af book. But this all happens while the person's still alive and paralysed so they feel it but can't move. If the performer messes up, there are healers to put the person back to full health and restore everything so it can start again so they get it right. And this is why I love horror
@@iamrazor9831 Not far off. The scene itself was horrifying. Just having a character describe what's going to happen beforehand was bad but the act itself was... let's just say i'm glad I wasn't eating

The 2ed season of the Abyss is really disturbing to me, especially when the girl wanted to be a mom and than she grew into that big thing and how zuzu eats ppl ngl those scenes really disturb me lol 1st season I like and ill still watch the 3ed season when it comes out since I've came this far😂
There could be a whole 20 minute video on the most gruesome deaths in higurashi when they cry. It’s a traumatizing show
I am watching the ep 1 of this show now. So far its going great and its pretty funny....I am at that part of the ep when they all are playing cards. I dont how it goes to that murder stuff
@@LazyArtyz it starts at episode 4 and then it gets… confusing to say the least.
@@j1nx. oh...I am watching ep 2 now and at that scene where the guy with the glasses dies.... R.I.P and it is getting confusing but not that interesting tho. I will keep watching anyways
@@LazyArtyz wait are you watching the old version or the newer version?
Any death by cell was disgusting 💀😂😂
No they are tasty
@@Stevecobs6 what is the difference ?!
Fun fact, top 12 is one of the most tame higurashi deaths, rika (the blue haired girl) is a time traveler and she dies at the end of every loop by takano who opens rika's stomach and leaves her to be eaten by crows
Also, right after the "rika stabs herself" scene there's ANOTHER death that's both extremely sad and extremely gruesome, if you want to watch it just search "shion kills satoko"
Maybe put a spoiler warning up? Jeeze..
The Overlord one wasn't ants they were cockroaches
No idea how they managed to fuck that up 😂
fun fact: cockroaches wait for you to sleep so they can eat your dead skin and drink your sweat
I cannot stomach the whole turned to goo thing in Made in Abyss
Guts: I’m gonna have a good life
Goofy ass screaming looking stone: *Nuh uh!*
The insects from the Overlord clip are roaches, not ants.
In your defense: it was pretty dark, in more than one way^^
sometimes what baffles me is anime has cool characters styles and a story arc but they want to kill of the character that went from 0 to hero
I'm very surprised nothing from Blood-C was added to this list, that anime had some very brutal and gory deaths..
Or Corpse Party for that matter. Could've made the list with those two alone
0:01 Cell drinks people and they are tight to suck them dry.
MasakoX: "STOP IT!"
Wait…I thought Asuka was alive at the end of “End of Evangelion!”
I was so happy you added "Another" here but you missed two amazing shows Elfen Lied and Blood-C they had crazy deaths
Asuka's death was sad.
But glad to see Jujutsu Kaisen!
John Kramer/Jigsaw: I create traps that are capable of ripping people apart unless they have the willpower to escape their predicaments.
Japan: I'm about to end this man's WHOLE career.
Berserk: Watching The Demon from The Eclipse devour & rip to shred The Band of The Hawk had to Traumatize a few people the first time they saw it.
So, to further inform on the Overlord Bug Death, they were eaten, regenerated, eaten, and repeat ad infinitum, and they also served as egg sacks
Kurama had a few crazy kills. I always thought the sinning tree was nightmare fuel.
Right? For the kindest demon on the show he was very ruthless when he wanted to be
@deedee9129 the scene at the climax of the game master fight 👀
TH-cam: "Okay, how many commercials do you want to have in your Video?"
Watchmojo: "Yes."
1:45 The uncut version shows her getting crushed. Saw it when I asked for the DVD for Christmas years ago. Definitely didn't regret it.
Ah, yu yu hakusho ...how nostalgic
Transformers Armada thrust and Big O Alan Gabriel getting squeezed to death. And I thought springer's death was gruesome
@FOC Grimlock I'm still waiting for legacy squidhead
It took me a long time to forget that girl in Elfen Lied getting cut in half…
1st episode of Goblin Slayer has several gruesome deaths
It must be acknowledged that the fuzzy white rabbit is a maneater started with mighty python, haha
To bad Subaru didn't have the holy hand grenade
Wow, this was a greatest hits of things I didn't realize I successfully buried. Between Made in Abyss, Asuka, Mike, Subaru, and Tetsuo's ol' girl, I feel like I was just wrung like a towel. Why did I click this???
I'm kind of disappointed that there weren't any deaths from the corpse party OVA
#18 is still the most... disturbing of them all in my opinion
Idk corpse party death of being dragged into a wall so fast they exploded on impact was pretty crazy
Pretty much any scene from Gantz is enough nightmare for most casual anime fans. I don’t think you’ve watched it.
Even the small green onion alien's death was as gruesome as any of the people! I can't remember any that would be considered quick deaths.
the most painful deaths are the made in abyss ones they are so brutal but that movie looks like a kids one
So many cruel ways to die.
Well this was freaking terrifying AF!!!!
Death leaves no beautiful corpses - the Native : Samurai Champloo
oh man, i remember the first time i watched Cell absorb someone. shit gave me nightmares, UGH!
I was 10 when I saw that. Lol I had nightmares too
Made in Abyss was a truly horrifying show not to mention the gruesome deaths😭😭
prushka: dad i wanna be a white whistle just like you
bondrewd: *laugh in scientist*
I'm not gonna lie I thought Golden Wind's Illuso dying by Purple Haze will be on this list
"Tell em about the time i drank an entire Battle Ball Team...at the same time" 0:07
If you thought #1 was the most disgusting death...
I can confirm, most deaths in higurashi are disturbing
Awesome!! 😎 These deaths didn't phase me, but I would watch them all to experience the full animes. Keep up the good work guys.
The Lower Moon deaths were scary and made my mom scream like the screaming humans from Power rangers
In another, the girl was in a hurry because her mom(another victim of the curse)died in a car accident and she was rushing to the hospital
That girls death in the alley is way worse than the demons deaths in demon slayer
Higurashi is basically a compilation on the most brutal ways to get killed/die
Mike's screams still haunt me
the lack of Blood C in this list makes me question watchmojo's definition of disgusting
basically diavolo gone through all of that and even worse ones💀
anothe's umbrella scene was so original.
I can confirm this video got me and at least one other person into Idaten.
Amazing video watch mojo of the gruesome ways to die/deaths in all of anime, fantastic job.
Summertime Rendering being sadly overlooked yet again.
To think, someone actually sat down to write all of this
People are more gore than I thought
Healers? You mean harmacists
@@iamrazor9831 Not far off. The scene itself was horrifying. Just having a character describe what's going to happen beforehand was bad but the act itself was... let's just say i'm glad I wasn't eating
Idk about anyone else but for me the Priest's death from shield hero felt satisfying rather than scary/disgusting. Bastard got what was coming for him
I've been reading the Berserk manga lately and my god is it messed up. RIP to the author.
"most disgusting deaths"
WM: did you enjoy this video?
Right 💀😂😂
I’m still mad that deadmans wonderland never got a second season
2:07 it’s called cancer
Please do a list of animes that deserve a continuation or reboot and make sure to put in Legend of Basara, The Rose of Versailles, Saiunkoku Monogatari and Vampire Knight
The fact I am irritated that it does not have more gore is a clear sign I am mentally not okay.
