Hi Stacey, we met today at the coffee stop - I cannot thank you enough for your tip with the clutch, hadn't realised how much stress changing gears was causing, you have completely changed my riding experience, thanks so much!!! Enjoy the new bike 🏍
Wicked. From the little I know I think it's the 848 that has slippery pegs in the wet - might want to check on that though. Easy mod for sure. You'll be tearing it up in no time. Next Sunday?
I was planning on next Sunday but have an unavoidable clash. Likely will take me some time to organise the trailer/ramps situation, so might see Boe back at Lakeside one more time before Eva makes it there. Thanks for the tip about the pegs - I found the same on the SuperSport and got some Puig rubber topped pegs that are much better.
Hi Stace, Mullet from the forum 😊 I’ve still got my 2013 Evo Corse se. You will defo want a bigger diameter clutch slave, they are very heavy. Rear shock spring is very heavy, I’m nudging 100Kg in my riding gear and I have the preload adjuster wound right out. Good luck, looking forward to seeing more.
That is such a beautiful bike - congratulations. Would love to hear a track day comparison between the 949 and Supersport - how much more confident you feel in the turns for example. Somehow researching Ducati Supersport 950S I came across your videos, had a blast. But I should go now - family is looking at me funny, plus I should get some work done;
I'm in the process of setting up the same bike for track days and racing here in Bahrain - did you change any mapping due to the cored out exhaust? Mine has been cored out and exhaust servo removed - Bike is allot better for sure. Any info you may have gained along the way much would be very much appreciated as there are varying reports online.
Unfortunately I don't know what map was done for the exhaust, but I do know it was done. Previous owner. It rips 😁. So yes, I'd suggest getting it tuned.
Great choice
It sure has been! I love it to bits.
Good one. Looking forward to the track day video.
It cannot come soon enough... I feel a bit impatient.
She's a real beauty! I always like when dual pipes come out from under the seat, and even when they're splayed out a bit like with the Monster 796.
It looks great... racey!
Love it. Most people don't even try to have fun 😊
Fun is so important, especially after we spend most of our lives being responsible, hey!

That's awesome Erin! Keep up the riding and enjoyment of it. Will look out for around these parts!

Congratulations beautiful bike .
Ride safe 👍😊
Thanks, yeah I feel very lucky to have this one.

Hey Mullet! Which clutch slave do you use on yours? I look forward to comparing notes on our 848s versus our supersports.
Mine is still stock, I never bothered, up-only quick shifter helps a bit, and strong hands haha. Oberon seems to be a popular choice.
@ChrisMani-ye3wz I heard of the Oberon option, will start the research!
Crickeys, stay safe Stace. I get the willies just going quick around a bend on my moped!
Thanks Spydey. I am very deliberate and careful on these machines - I have GREAT respect for what they can do.
Looks like a great adventure. Good luck Stace!
😁😁😁

Yes I absolutely will do a track day comparison between the 939 and the 848... hopefully in June, my first track day on the 848.
Michelin Power Cup 2s are great track day tyres! That is going to be a sweet track bike!!
Thanks... I cannot wait to find out for myself 😁
