    I'm glad you went in depth with this because you gave a clear idea of what people are in for if they go to medical school. I've watched other videos about this too and the info in all of them is consistent with this.

    I have a question 🙋‍♀️
    So I am planning to be a neurologist and am coming currently in high school. The thing is that I don’t know what type of neurologist I want to be, like I heard there many types.
    Do each type of em study different things? Do I have to choose what type of neurologist I want to be? If so would it be in pre med or med school?
    Is there any way I can finish pre med early?

      Hey 👋🏻 I know it’s been months but hope my answer helps! If you want to become a neurologist you have to go through 4 years of college, take the MCAT and pass it, apply to medical school and hopefully get accepted. Medical school is 4 years, after medical school you could apply for residency and hopefully match into neurology. Neurology residency is usually 5 years and you cover all topics of neurology. After residency congrats your a fully qualified neurologist, however, there’s this thing called fellowships which is basically an extra 1 to 2 years of extra training to help you specialise in an a more detailed area of neurology. There are a lot of different fellowships for neurology however note that completing a fellowship is not mandatory but most neurologist choose to further specialise with a fellowship hope that helps 👍🏻👍🏻

    • @AA-do1vw
      @AA-do1vw 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@kingman6354 Hey! For anaesthesiology, it’s 4 years of college, take and pass the MCAT and complete all the prerequisite courses, apply and hopefully get accepted to medical school which is 4 years, then apply to a anaesthesia residency which is usually 4 years and then maybe a subspecialty with a fellowship. Good luck!

    Tank you for the information
    I wanna apply to medical school to
    Any tips on how to pay 💰 it???

    • @medwithwil

      The way most people, including me, had to pay it is through student loans. These are loans you will get from the government so the interest rates are decent. It is still very expensive overall. But think of it as a long term investment that will pay itself back. Its hard but worth it.
