Love David !, thank you for 40 years of amazing real music and keep yourself such a down to Earth and nice person. All the best !, you truly deserve it.
'There wouldn't be enough dressing rooms.' Wonderful...a reminder that there are so many 'stars' in bands who would need want their own room. Mr. Coverdale is intelligent, clever, witty and fun...and always SO British. The reference to Betty's of Harrogate...hilarious. Long may he reign.
I so love it how he aged....I think he is very attractive still and what a great musician, and man... sophisticated, likable and humble...I want him to read me to sleep...this man can read the yellow pages for all i care , still would love to hear it
I couldn't have said it better myself, I hear his voice and I want to melt; his laugh is contagious. All men should age as gracefully as David Coverdale. Long live the Snake!!!
Coverdale is a journeyman rockstar frontman like Paul Rodgers or Dio . He has worked with a LOT of people over the years. He has gotten a lot of grief over the years for having an ego, but he is a rockstar singer, of course he has an ego. In the ego department, Richie Blackmore takes the cake. He could give Mick Jagger a run for his money for the biggest ego in the room. Just saying, I have never actually met any of these people, just what I have read. P.S. I thought the male interviewer treated Coverdale abominably.
The British tv shows like this one and Loose Women love to play on the fact that he likes Yorkshire Gold tea. Someone once gave him a cup of a different brand and he started singing I don't know what I'm drinking, but it sure ain't Yorkshire Gold Hangin' on the promises, of a decent cup of tea But I've made up my mind Drinking this will make me blind
Funnily enough my cousin is a LOrd but I barely know him. But I have been following the 'Snake ever sinc ethe Snakebite EP I bought as a teenager. He is VERY well spoken. Much more so than he was back in the day.
Saw them last night for the first time @ Wembley Arena, totally awesome. lol, when they were talking about his hair and he says "feel free to have a 'pull'" he should have directed that offer to the female presenter...with subtle innuendo implied.
Well, is a fantastic person, a fantastic singer, a fantastic musician and the best Whitesnake ever, I had been to 32 of their shows in 25 years so I can tell, these guitarist are so much better and the sound is at the very top of their time, yes, he has lost in his 60 the top of the high end, still so much better than 99 % of any other singer. Life and music is not just for the young.
Kind of evolved from the Paul Rodgers style of Mk III/IV Purple and early Snake heavy blues then into heavy R&B/heavy rock early of the early 80s and then into the MTV influenced hair-metal from 1987 onwards.

Or you could look after yourself, diet, and exercise then you won't need a facelift. If you keep your chin tight by being slim then it's not gonna sag.

These breakfast TV interviews with musicians are so badly and lazily researched. This was about the same time that they interviewed Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson and said that he was famous for standing on his head while playing the flute. They usually know nothing and ask such stupid questions.
Lol "Dancing around like a Dervish Mufty" - Coverdale's cool. The Patrick Stewart of Hard Rock. In fact, is there anything Coverdale doesn't lend his hand to? Why, at this very moment, I have sat right in front of me a big bottle of purest "Coverdale" milk. Longer lasting, apparently. Hang on, on closer insepction, that'd be "Cravendale" milk. So forget that, but my point still stands, even without the milk. Anyway, David Cravendale is one of the best vocalists ever in hard rock.
kashmirpage Good cover band Zepplin. And true hard rockers all know Deep Purple was the best band of those days. Cloverdale was right when he said he got to join the greatest rock band in the World. Deep Purple!
Love David !, thank you for 40 years of amazing real music and keep yourself such a down to Earth and nice person. All the best !, you truly deserve it.
David Is a True Gentleman and a Gem! I Love His Laugh. A Great Soul. I Love Him. And Did I Mention...He Is An Amazing Musician.
Mr Coverdale always cracks me up with his witty and intelligent comments. On top of that he has the best rock voice known to man. Cuppa tea anyone?
David Coverdale seems like a very nice down to earth gentalman. Man how I would love to meet him.
Me too
So am I

David Coverdale has truthfully the sexiest voice of anyone I have ever heard!
Robin Lukenbaugh I was thinking the SAME THING! WOW!
Yes yes he does ❤️
He not only has a wonderful speaking and singing voice, he is eloquent and intelligent!
@@maryolson7407 You should hear interviews with him from the '70s. He's acquired this posh Roger Moore-type voice since then.
Yes ..
❤ ..👍

Wow,the man has such charisma and presence, and sexy too, such a rock god.
Nice guy. Love his music. Full of passion.
Proud to say I was born in the same town as David, lol.
Legend... thanks for remembering Belfast i was there
Nothing better than chocolate digestives and tea. Coverdale is one the best British rock vocalists ever
Ali74 EVER.....
Susannah fancies him and I laughed when David said bill Turnbull could have a pull....I'm sure it was a reference to his hair but still hilarious.
No hes not hes the greatest rock singer in rock history!

I gotta get myself an official Coverdale wig. Best look under "Louis XIV" style.lol.
Rock on Dave.
No, Brian May from Queen has the patent on that. Both young Louis XIV (with a black wig) and the old (grey/white wig).

Best voice ever!
He's a Cool Presents is he not. Modren day Gentlemanman. God Bless David Cloverdale n all of W. S.
One of the best voices of Rock ,Hard , and Metal I'd say
Coverdale is great but Dio`s voice is just something else.
@Rompoll Foskin I doubt that Coverdale could sing "I" or "Computer God" with that much power as Dio did :)
When you hear and watch the video of Here we go again, I always assumed he was American 😆
Exelent musician, perfect voice
HERE'S A SONG FOR YAA!!!
Top Rock artist, family man,all round good guy, loves his Tea. Ya know why.HE IS BRITISH.
His accent now is of a learned person.
고백 제가 솔져오브포춘을 soldeir of fortune 을 부르려는데 하늘에서 커버데일 형님의 기운이 금빛처럼 내려오더라 나도 놀랏다 신비한경험이엇다
He's dropped those songs down a few keys since the originals if this is 2013.... but he is ageing gracefully :)
All aging singers do the same. They cant do the high notes as they did before.
Funny how he always has a cup of tea when being interviewed

It's an impressive mane for his age, as is Robert Plant's do.
David still has a lot of hair and Plant is thinning at the top and looks damaged whereas David's hair looks healthy and shiny.
AN A AMAZING SINGER,...NO MORE TO SAY.....
Burn! Best coverdale/purple song
fabulous!

Tommy was great. He was with Black Oak Arkansas. Dirty Reynolds and Tommy we're maybe the best rythum section in the business.
@Kurt Sherrick Pat "Dirty" Daugherty was the bass player in Black Oak. Not Ricochet Reynolds.

he sounds a bit like alan partridge
What’s with the accent ? The dude is from Runcorn !
He's not from Runcorn but he does parody his native Yorkshire accent at the end. No idea why he started speaking like a duke though.
Bill Putney In one of the intros on “Live In London” he’s introduced as being from Runcorn
Men should age naturally. They look alot better. Haven't seen a face lift improve a man's looks yet. They all looked better before
But you think that women should age unnaturally ? lol
