And yeah, I much prefer the heavy rhythm & blues to the 80s hair metal. This was the music I grew up with and loved a lot. And stil do.

I was there, but I don’t remember Ian Paice not being there. Last time I thought I’d seen Cozy Powell was when he was playing with the Michael Schenker Group. I also remember going to Bradford St George’s Hall to see that, and the first concert was cancelled, as he’d punched Schenker backstage, so he buggered off! (Proper version of ‘Here I go again’; sadly not the one you ever hear being played!)

I recall a massive plastic bottle throwing storm at some point, the contents of some of said bottles clearly didn't come from any refreshments stall at the event!! Brilliant!
