@@DetailVideo Thanks. I will check it out, I definitely prefer MacOS over iOS though, since it is more manageable with larger screens. Hope it is not neglected and regularly gets updates (I have an M-Series Mac).

Wait a minute. With detail for iOS I can use my iPad and record primarily on my iPhone behind my teleprompter? AND use those multiple camera angles to produce a more jazzy and interesting video?

Hi i have a questions :) So we use the RodeCaster Pro, could we use that and detail to combine the audio and video from our phones (3 person podcast recording in the same room as each other)?
With Detail for Mac, you can record on any number of devices and you can use the Multi-Cam import (File → New → Multi-Cam Import) to import videos from multiple iPhones and the audio files from your Rodecaster.
Just record in their phones 2-3-4-5 phones
Record in the rodecaster
Sync everything up AFTER they recorded in Detail via Multi-Cam import (File → New → Multi-Cam Import)
OR
Use log USB-C / Lightning cables and connect everything straight to Detail Studio
Make scenes in Detail Studio
Add the iPhones (they need to have Detail USB Camera installed on their phones.

Is it possible to shoot 3 guests total with 2 iPhones?
Hey Danna - You could shoot 2 guests with one iPhone, the third with the second device. For audio, you can either use two microphones, use 2 wireless microphones connected to one iPhone and 1 to the other phone, or connect a Rodecaster, Podtrak, or other audio interface to one of the phones. Is this only available for Mac books? I have a Microsoft Studio laptop.
Unfortunately right now Detail is only available for Mac. We're a small team so, although we'd love to bring Detail to other platforms eventually, we're focusing all our efforts on macOS and iOS for now. I hope that makes sense!

Yes, if you download the Detail for iOS app on each device you want to connect, you can use as many iPhones as you like.
Detail will capture both cameras at the same time so you get perfectly synced multi-camera footage when you're done filming.
why is the app asking for access to local network??
With the Detail Camera app on iOS, you can connect your iPhone camera to Detail for Mac. You can connect multiple iOS devices to record on Mac. To connect, we need to search your local network for the macOS app.

Was expecting a proper tutorial on how to record with an iPhone (basically what the title was hinting at).
But this video gives no explanation or guidance on how to record properly a podcast with an iPhone.
What do I need? What's the best setup? What to be wary of when recording on a phone?
I understand it's helping getting your brand up on search engines, but it's just cheap and will ultimately hurt your brand and the influencers you work with in the long run.
Rerelease an actual guide and you'll be helpful :)
