25:55 "A Country Practice" was made by Station ATN-Sydney for *The Australian Television Network* and ran from 1980 to 1992 and was shot in, and set in NSW where the fictional Wandin Valley was located. The 1994 reboot failed because of the relocation to Victoria, which destroyed the show's authenticity when Austrama took up production of the show.

15:00 Actually, the Sydney station is *United Telecasters,* Melbourne's is *Austrama* but I don't know which companies own Station TVQ-Brisbane, VEW-Perth or SAS-Adelaide, so perhaps the national name should be a combination of Sydney & Melbourne as *The ITS Austrama/United Network* and on-air as *Austrama/United TV,* thus avoiding confusion over channel numbers, which are totally unimportant anyway. Ch.0 was 45-52Mhz(bottom of VHF Band 1) while Ch.10 was 208-215Mhz(Second-from-Top of VHF Band 3) and that's *ALL* the channel number represented.

46:00 Clearly research has *NOT BEEN DONE AT ALL* in this show. The Mixtures did not form as a group until early 1970 with their cover of Mungo Jerry's "In The Summertime" being their debut single on the Fable label. The "Go!!" Show ended in 1967 to be replaced by "Up-Tight" in 1968 with Johnny Young as host until 1969. The "Go!!" Show had an associated record label pressed and distributed by Astor but Astor pulled the pin on the label shortly before the demise of the TV show which was produced in the studios of *Station ATV-Melbourne.*

44:23 *WRONG!!!!!* Ross D. Wylie did *NOT* host "Up-Tight" in 1968. The show was hosted by Johnny Young that year, with Wylie taking over in 1969. In 1970, Johnny Young teamed up with Kevin Lewis to form "Happening Productions" which morphed into Lewis/Young Productions. Wylie hosted Happening '70, then half-way through Happening '71's run, handed the reins to Jeff Philips who carried the show through to the end on 1972, as "Happening '72". In the meantime, Lewis/Young had begun producing a show which was a rehash of Station HSV-Melbourne's Brian & The Juniors, with 6 of those "juniors" becoming the first *Young Talent Time* team.

It actually did air in 2005. I watched it myself that year. Notice the portion of the program at 50:57 with the Ten News closer from Melbourne which clearly says it's from 2005.

The boy at the end credits playing the organ. Which talent show was this from? His impression of Louis Armstrong gave me a smile.

54:30 The planes flying into the twin towers of New York's World Trade Centre showed Australian TV news coverage *AT ITS WORST-EVER!!!!!* Excessive continuous showing of the same scenes over and over ad nauseam and dragging on for a week afterward for 24 hours each day. If that sort of thing happened here, it's for sure the American TV stations would've given the coverage about 3 minutes-worth as an afterthought on their late night bulletins.

The network slogan should be "You're on top with Austrama TV"!(Austrama being the corporate name of Station ATV-Melbourne's licencee).

2 weeks ago they just had the 50 Years Special for Channel 10 this year (2014) so it must be 2004. :P :)

i knew that but Wikipedia said it was 2005 and the show has footage of programs that ended in 2004 if it was 2004 then those shows would be written as 2003-present not 2003-2004 (in the case of SKIThouse). it's very confusing.

At the 15 minute mark, what I said earlier stands! Channel O DID NOT MOVE to Channel 10! Station ATV-Melbourne, and add to that, Station TVQ-Brisbane were shifted from 45-52 Mhz to 208-215 Mhz. Channel 0 was simply temporarily reallocated to another TV service before being disused because of its low frequency being far too susceptible to electromagnetic interference.

I can see why this network is in the financial trouble that it's in as of June 2017. They are too busy offering crappy reality shows instead of the shows they made in the 1970s and 1980s. ATV, TVQ and TEN(should be UTN) deserve their dire fate. Perhaps the licences of these stations should be revoked, but the regional operators should split and go their own way, produce their own news bulletins and source their shows from elsewhere because their metropolitan affiliates might not be around for much longer.

@Jamie M. I will agree on this point. ATV-Melbourne's greatest achievement was *Young Talent Time,* the 50th Anniversary of which was on 24th April this year(2021). Also they had *Matlock Police* and *Number 96* which was produced in Sydney. The 1960s, 1970s, 1980s and 1990s were the better years of Australian TV but the rot really set in during these first two decades of the 21st Century(2001 to 2020).
