I love that you wear comfy clothes and pajamas to clean. No one in their right mind wakes up, does their hair and make up, puts on a nice outfit to sweat and clean! I always laugh at these girls in full make up dressed up cleaning. I don’t need you to look good! I just need you to get me up and motivated to clean! 😂

Try dawn dish soap for grease to clean those shirt spots!! I use a tooth brush to scrub and let it set then wash. Works great!

I’m in the U.S. and our grocery, household items, building supplies etc. prices are crazy out of control! They are at an all time high the past 3 1/2 years. A rotisserie chicken is anywhere between 12 & $15 and that’s for a small one. That package of porckchops here is more than what you paid. The economy here is awful. 😡 Before 2020 they were great. Now…… terrible. Your recipe looks delicious. I’m definitely going to try that. Have a great day. 😊

I second this, I’m in PA and everything is so wildly expensive.
In my area of Alberta we pay around $8 to $13 for a rotisserie chicken depending on where you shop. Costco being the cheapest and Safeway/ Sobeys being the highest.
Safeway is terrible. They renovated in our city. Like why bother? The store was nice as it was. No instead renovate and then jack the prices up smh 🙄
At Walmart in central Michigan rotisserie chicken is $5.97 and pork chops are between $4.00-$6.00/ lb depending on the cut.
That’s a great price for the chicken. I got one tonight actually. $12.99 Canadian so that’s about $9.50 US. And when you have to buy for a big family you need 2 or 3 of them 😩

Yes, he really tries his best even when he’s hobbling around. I always have to tell him to go rest. It’s so nice to have him around.
Grocery prices are absolutely crazy!! I try hard to buy when things are on sale and I try to price match. However, there are more times than not when I just need to get the groceries done and out of the way which means I pay more. I am in the same province as you and the prices are just as expensive. People make fun of me for my little stockpile, but when something we eat or use is on sale and has a great shelf life, I am going to buy extra for sure!! I actually grew a small garden to get fresh tomatoes, zucchini, peppers and herbs for the summer.
Yes I hear you. Sometimes you just need a quick stop for a few things and go the more expensive place and you’re at $100 in just a few minutes. Safeway and Metro tick me off. Their prices are ridiculous. I try to only buy sale items at Metro.
My dishwasher was doing the same thing in our new house. My husband just adjusted the legs on the bottom and it stopped tipping!!

Chicken has always been less expensive in the states, I am 20 mins from the US border and before COVID things used be cheaper but now, not much is cheaper but I buy roasted chicken at Costco for around $7. Im in a small town so our Independent grocery store charges a small fortune too! Luckily I'm only 20 mins from a Costco, I hope you get one in your area soon! and yeah the carbon tax sucks majorly!!
Yes. Some grocery items are t any cheaper in the U.S. and once you factor in the exchange it’s crazy. A case of pop is like 7.99 US. That’s like $11 Canadian. Just bonkers.

Get the boys a car and let them drive. Saves you a lot of time. Port chops are about the same. Meat in general is high. I live in the US.
I live with my daughter and her family, and I do all of the grocery shopping. They are vegetarian so I buy no meats and still spend a small fortune! I live in the USA.

Amanda, I certainly don’t mean to preach, but in all honesty, the Bible speaks of things costing a days wage for just 1 loaf of bread in the last days. Things are definitely pointing in that direction! Not at all saying we are at the end,,, but we are definitely closer than ever before!

Hi Amanda, it does seem alot of money for a chicken, I have never seen a chicken that price ever in the UK, and the chops aswel. You can see why people can not afford to feed there family's . When are u putting your living room together
Well my living room is together I just don’t love it right now. 🫤 I have new couches I want to get and put the leather ones downstairs. The fireplace still needs to be finished too. So it’s just not my favourite space right now. I miss my old living room it was so cozy and comfortable. I need to get an area rug too. I’m hoping to get that all set up to enjoy a cozy fall time in the living room.

I was just at a Publix in South Florida today, and on sale, the rotisserie chicken was $9.99. Publix isn’t the cheapest, so I’m sure there is cheaper elsewhere. Everything has gotten so expensive in the past 3 1/2 years. I know some of it is down to COVID and supply issues resulting from the shutdown. But, as Obama once said, elections have consequences. And for once, I agree with him. No matter what side people fall on, the people we vote for are the people who make policies that affect the things we consume. We have to be very careful when voting. And I hold no hope that prices will come down. I just want them to stop going up.
Oh yes I agree, I sure hope the prices settle down too. Wages aren’t going up nearly as fast. 😩 I’ve just been trying to boost our income myself to offset the costs. That’s all we can do really 🤷🏼♀️
$5 for a rotisserie chicken?! In PA they’re about $12. My husband just bought one the other night. The prices here are insane too….I couldn’t agree more, I’m also bitter. I looked at items I bought three years ago. I re-added the items to my cart now. They were over $300 MORE for the exact same items! That’s insane. 😢
I live in Philly area and Giant has them for $7.99. They usually have a $2 off coupon on their app. Costco and BJs has them for $5. Where do you grocery shop?

I live in Ukraine. Just googled prise for pork shops and it is 6 $ per 1 kg... But it's crazy for us since ordinary people (teachers, doctors, civil servants) receive a salary 200$ per month. Prices are going crazy. I rerly by pork
Yes prices ARE going crazy. My husband is working 12 hours a day to keep up and so our boys can continue playing hockey. It’s sad.
