Love this cover, they nailed it! i love when during Hazuki's second solo when they had the little circle on the bottom right to show the other members, Haraguchi-sun did two twirls around and that just amuses me so much.
G.O.D. is a cool track. The band is now a four piece and really sound a bit tougher with the bass and drums filling the gaps. They have been touring in Japan. Unfortunately, the lead singer Mayu had two weeks off with laryngitis with a couple of cancelled shows. Then of course the tour continued but when I arrived in Japan to see them she unfortunately contracted COVID and 3 more shows were cancelled and now re-scheduled for December. I missed out but there's always a next time. They are now still touring and Mayu is back to her best. They are releasing a new song,a ballad, in a few days and their new EP has the other two released songs as well. Tamu is the same drummer but just with her hair longer here. That is Mayu's son in the video and Tamu has two little girls. Former lead Saki is continuing with her solo career and has also been playing some live shows with guest artists plus other stuff. Keep up the good work gents. You may also like the recent Painkiller cover of another Japanese bands Painkiller cover. Only Nemophila does a cover of a cover. LOL.
Yes that was the vocalist Mayu’s son. The Dummer Tamu-Murata is the original and still with Nemophila. However, they did have a substitute drummer for a show, perhaps more while Tamu was on maternity leave. Off the top of my head that drummer was Mittan from Show-Ya, but I don’t remember with any certainty.
Nemophila still Nemophila with 4.. Tamu(same world class drummer) and Haraguchi-san(bass) stepped up the fills, and Hazuki(7 string) is next level.they already have several recent originals recorded with the 4 of them (evolve series) and more great covers, most recently "My Own Painkiller)..and they're excellent ! Please check out their song "Progress".. this band is still far underrated !..
Drummer is the same. Kinda weird not seeing Saki in the mix. Great cover IMHO. Used to watch them on Public access T.V. back in the day. Good stuff. 🤘✌
Nemophila and Loudness have done a few co shows together .. Most recently this summer where they performed this song live together and Akira and Hazuki do the solo together.. They also covered "Crazy Doctor" and performed it together live with Akira soloing with now Ex member Saki. Guitarist Akira is the creator of Killer guitars of which Saki has custom signature model (Killer Kg-Fascinator Seven The Empress) .. Oh Also since you mentioned Motley Crue.. Loudness opened for them during their 1985 tour. A good vid of a concert in Pennsylvania (I think) is on youtube.

They are ever tighter unit after Saki left. Their liveshows are heavier and crazier than ever 🔥🤘❤️
The child is May (singers) son. He crashed the recording. Mayu mentioned it when it happened on twitter.
