- In this video, i will be sharing with you my Ragnarok Origin Global Shield Boomerang Shield Chain (Rapid Smithing) build that focuses on utilizing a shield to enable both aoe and single target dps for grinding or pvp! I will be sharing with you my recommendations on stats, skills, equipment, cores, sigils, enchants, feathers and cards as well as explain my rationale on the recommendations throughout this video!

Thanks for the tip bro! Really helpful since I'm planning to change to paladin. Though, I would recommend you to get Riding because when you are riding a peco2 for paladin (RO classic), you will be considered as Large size in PVP instances which in most cases DPS classes would usually use Skel worker to their weapon unless they would get Mastersmith buffs this will not matter. Great guide!

Thnks for the tip bro. I am dragging myself to build as much str as possible. it's hard for me since i have invested all to vit/hp/def/mdef as a tank main.

Ive tried this build with 99 vit 67 str max out shield chain heavy shield lvl 7 only and may damage on large was about 140k the only bad side is the casting time and mana consuption

It restores both ur HP and the pet's HP based off ur respective HPs

would you recommend SACRI build for MVP? you can provide damage and damage taken...
We use Ivory Lance for its Spear Stab proc, which in turn synergises with the Imperial Technique core.
To be honest, Spear stab is trash lol
i tried this but it doesnt work, ivory lance with imerial technique core, even spear stab procs ,
amazing guide as usual. i tried going grand cross as f2p and its so shit lol. going to switch to shield build!

@@AFAIKIGAMER the holycross 2hand spear is kinda good can easily deal 200k dmg on demon/undead and spammable with high agi. consumes a lots of blue potions tho

I just wanted to thank you for this video. I've been contemplating if I should go change to Paladin as an LK tank bruiser and this video answered my question. I might change once the shield passive gets fix and lvl 90 sets are out. Once again thank you. More power.
Level 90 is a good spot to change if u are more interested in grinding as lk now but for mvp tank, pally is much better.

Question, how is "PvP DMG Bonus" calculated? Does it affect damage of paladin sacrifice?
Pvp dmg bonus affects everything in pvp. IIRC 10 points PvE/pvp dmg boost = 0.12% dmg boost
@@KokkyGachasI see, do you think it's worth it to get gold feathers with PvP DMG Bonus, even if ignore defense stat and +pdmg stats are useless for sacrifice?
I'm not a whale player, Gold feathers are expensive so I want to be sure it's worth it 😅 appreciate the your unbiased opinion

thank you very much for this guide and also for that bug heads up, now i know the reason why my shield boomerang hits so low, also in enchants can i use Sharp instead of Fighting Spirit/Legendary Bow?
Sharp is for Matyr's Reckoning and does nth for shield chain/boom. I would suggest unlock additional enchant presets to get fighting spirit/legendary bow.

weapon doesn't matter too much tbh depends on the monster size u wanna farm

Hi Kokky, I want to switch between sword and spear paladin to maximize size damage but I dont want to pay transfer of refinement every time. Would you know if the refinement level of the weapon affects the shield damage?
It does affect but just for reference my lvl 50 long horn does more damage than my +13 Excalibur against large monsters so size damage advantage is massive
Vit+int work for shield boom & shield chain.. Saving blue pot 😂 and good for pvp b'cause int = mdef. Int = decrease Casting time too for shield chain
bro how about the best weap and shield for pvp is it holy guard + excalibur or holy guard + long horn
Honestly ASPD doesn't affect shield boom/chain so u can go with either excalibur or long horn personal preference
To the paladins here that is using shield boomerang to farm, do converters work on shield skills?

Are you planning to build Sacrifice? Do you also think that it's gonna be as similar as shield boomerang? I mean, can you still deal decent amount to mobs with shield boomerang with the same equipment/setup as Sacrifice?

Great guide since I'm a VIT Shield user myself and the increase damage is needed for shielders. What is your recommended spear as an alternative weapon?(I also use Excalibur as main weapon)

Ivory probably.
Just use Excalibur. It gives u vit and u dont need to craft another weapon/refine

Paladin since they have skills that scales off vit and hp% while having skills that increase their max hp
for rapid smiting build, for the damage boost, it depends of raw vit or maxhp?
Vit only iirc I tested removing armor and still same damage

Hi, Muka*** or Mantis*** for maximum damage? After pumping VIT, should we go for STR for more damage or DEX for faster skill?
Depends on ur character (due to 1% patk on mantis). Str for damage on shield boom, dex for casting on shield chain/hitting gh mobs.
@@KokkyGachas specifically for shield chain. For higher dps. Over the course of let’s say 1min, which has more damage.
@@ehregeiz For what I tested on my character adding dex+str is better. I did not go all dex instead distributing some to str (vit 99)

You can use any shield. Cross shield is just stronger. Also just go support on juperos

Untick use max level for skills when u are setting skills
i have try vit+str and vit+dex
vit+str = more dmg
vit+dex = cast time
I think the cast time barely decreased its like better more dmg i guess

If you mean shield chain, dex is better for dps but lower dmg per shield chain. Dex does nothing for shield boom.

How to maintain the of paldin aggro ? Coz u see theres a hatred there a passive one which is higher with using provoke but wjy im loosing to a lk provoking with provoke only ?? Started I switch to paladin i alwqus lost to lk provoke in mvp. Cant understand the hatred of the passive of paladin..
there has to be something than just provoke alone bruh, im not really sure but with pally’s protection passive and LK provoke? LK lose so theres gotta be a catch
U cant never lose to LK in aggroiing MVP, Paladin have skill that increase Aggroing by 800% tho...by yeah u need to autospam the Provoke constantly so u dont lose to other Paladins

Use shield skills and provoke alternately? And get the skill that increase hatred % when using shield skills.
Do you have the provoke core? Maybe his is highest level

Add dex/int to reduce cast time (cooldown will rely on GCD)
Your dmg that high and that is still without cross shield. I have almost the same gears as you (i can say i even have better) and my damage is lower than yours and that's with cross shield already lol what is wrong with my character 😂
