HOW TO USE THIS MOUSE JIGGLER VIDEO?
- play this video on your phone and put your optical mouse on it. Make sure your phone's brightness is maximum. See below for in-depth instructions.
- you may have seen other videos about "how to keep your computer awake" and it tells you to use a mouse jiggler program. This video is basically that jiggler program, but with no .exe files for you to download and install so it's more convenient and risk-free for viruses and malware.
EXAMPLE
-Are you working from home and don't want your work computer to go on "Away" status? Some messenger applications, such as Microsoft Teams, will automatically set your status to "away" within 3 to 10 minutes of inactivity, thus signaling your employer. Use this mouse jiggler video so you can avoid being "away" and can freely go to the bathroom or whatever without feeling overly rushed.
I am not suggesting you to slack from work with this solution. Please fulfil your duties and use this video responsibly. Thank you.
MY MOUSE JIGGLER TESTS
I've tested this mouse jiggler several times and it is confirmed working for messaging apps and programs such as Microsoft Teams and Skype.
I've also tested other mouse jiggling methods on TH-cam, such as using a shiny coin, the edge of a glass cup, and even other mouse jigglers that require you to put your mouse on the very edge or corner of the phone screen. These didn't work for me! Also, avoid some TH-cam suggestions that essentially makes your computer keep pressing one of they keyboard keys, but your company will likely see the never ending pressing of a keyboard key on your screen!
** INSTRUCTIONS AND HELP **
To use this mouse jiggler, play it on your smartphone or tablet and place your optical (laser) mouse on the center of the screen.
Ensure that the video is playing before you put your mouse on your phone.
Make sure you boost the Screen Brightness to maximum (very important!)
** IF THIS MOUSE JIGGLER ISN'T WORKING **
- try this trick: when you take your mouse off of the phone/tablet screen, and then place it back onto the screen, look to see if your mouse pointer on your computer monitor is moving slightly on its own.
It may take 5 or more tries, so be patient. Once you see your mouse pointer on the monitor is moving slightly on its own, then it's 100% good to go!
** Please note, even if your mouse cursor isn't moving on the screen, try using this method anyway by putting your mouse on your phone's screen.
- if it's still not working, try to use an older laser mouse instead of the newer models.
- still not working? Double-check that your phone/tablet screen is truly at 100% maximum brightness. Sometimes, it is on auto-brightness and won't allow it to go to maximum, or if it is running low on battery.

Im an air traffic controller. This works wonders! I can finally relax and play some PUBG: Mobile on my Apple iPad for 1, 2, or sometimes even 3 hours at a time, continuously, while this video keeps my Air Traffic Control computer awake. Thanks!

Useful for mouse. If you bend the cable of the mouse and rest to mouse in the cable so the mouse is slightly lifted, it seems to work better for me. Plus full brightness of course.

Create a teams meeting, (Ideally a year in the future, so if your organisation has calendar access they won't see your meeting) Dial in to the meeting, go back to your teams main window and click your profile icon (That should now show in a meeting) Change it to online (Will now show a green online tick) This will show to everyone in your organisation as online and will stay like this all day until you end the meeting.
With Microsoft Viva, your manager will be able to see clues that you're doing this trick

Had to use an older corded optical mouse I had laying around...........that worked great! Newer Microsoft Wireless USB mouse would not.

Ok i have been using this with no problems for over a year now! Lol but right now i went to take my "break" 😆 and its not working. Im not sure what the issue is? Someone help!
If it's not working, try lifting your mouse off and then place it back on your phone. Keep repeating until you see your mouse cursor moving on its own.

Use a wall clock... put your mouse near the seconds needle it will move the cursor slaightly every time it passes under the mouse

Good question! I don't yet, but what you can do is add my shorter mouse jiggler videos into a playlist, and then just let your playlist play.

1- first take a corded mouse and connect with laptop
2- play this video on your phone
3- place the mouse on the center of phone
4- you will see the mouse moving slightly

Yes, and if it doesn't work - try lifting your mouse off and place it back on the phone as earlier. Repeat this a few times if it didn't work. The lines in the video "catch" the mouse sensor to kickstart it to work.

It's always possible, but using this mouse jiggler method is much less detectable. Much better than other methods that rely on keyboard key pressed which is easily detected

Hi, try shaking your mouse gently while it is on your phone for 2 seconds, then let it rest on the phone. Then check if the mouse cursor is moving on its own. If not, keep repeating. It can take several tries.

Doesnt work for me, i have tried a few of these videos, 3 mice and 600 lumen monitor, do you need an old red LED mouse?
Back to using my old wireless mouse hot glued to an egg timer with a stick glued to the other side so it slowly rotates when placed near a wall. It only works 98% of the time and for one hour, it does inform you when it needs resetting though haha
You mentioned "600 lumen monitor"... are you putting your mouse onto a phone with this video running? (Because a monitor would be too large)

Try placing your mouse on a smartphone screen instead of iPad screen. It would work better on the smaller screen

I am one of those people who can't work from home due to a physical job, where work is at work. I would like to say that if this is how you are getting through a days work, then shame on you. This is why people can't get through to big offices and businesses on phones or get things sorted out.

Playing a video on PC doesn't keep the PC awake. Instead, play this video on a phone or tablet and put your mouse on it so that it makes the mouse move to keep your PC awake
