In UT we can register an ATV for highway use as well as off road. To license the ATV you need to have all the safety items a motorcycle does and take an ATV driving test and written test. I had NO issues in any state with highway patrol or city cops...they would even wave and on occasion ask questions when I was stopped.
HI Frank, would love know break the barrier of Florida for ATVs. I've seen one or two UTVs here on the road. Should I register one in another state first?
The ATV was a Can-Am 800 2 up version. Top speed? Don't know for sure but I have had it up to 80MPH only once. For this trip is wasn't about the speed, but power, comfort, handling etc. Once outside of Utah I would cruse 60mph. Longest day was the first day at 423 miles.
In the UK we can drive quad bikes on any roads we like completely road legal, even with off road tires. Just need a car licence in the uk as all quad bikes have indicators, mirrors, horn etc already built in. We can go anywhere and everywhere.
How you register it to be able to drive on highways ? Because as long as one state licenses it. Then should be able to take it on any interstate in the country
I'm jealous. I would love to do that. It's like shortcut down the dirt rd? Hell ya brother

That is in all of europe
Someday I will set on world record for this. My ride would be my trusty 1987 Kawasaki KLF300, or maybe my Artic Cat 400, whichever I still have.
Thanks! Glad to see I have some support!
@@rammatic7881 Well, did you finally go on that trip?

Can you licence an atv in CA
What brand is the atv... and whats the top speed?
thanks
so u need an atv license?
Where can i get such a Trailer ?
think it be unstable at high speeds
You bike maybe...Smiles. It was extremely stable and was void of any yaw. Being longer than a one-up ATV it is inherently more stable.
Is there a way you can adjust the speed of the ATV Quad 550cc?
Gears
CNN hat??
