    Spot on info in my opinion. I have the v7 and the v9. I love the 7 and after fixing the 9, and the one they sent to replace it, its pretty good too. I use the 9 for lining and color packing and the 7 for soft shading now. I pushed a 14rs for lining with that v9 and it did awesome! Still though, I'm getting the EX-2 for lining asap, maybe tomorrow. You weren't lying, us family guys got bills to pay! But yeah man thanks for putting out reliable information for the tattoo community, its appreciated! Oh yeah, you mentioned that you are doing more detail work in black and gray, well that cheap like $10 rotary machine you see on Amazon is pretty badass for ultra fine detailing. I was thinking about trying to put a better replacement motor in one. The extreme light weight is nice for the little details. I also put a rca connector on mine. I just created a channel and will do a video on it soon. Anyways, just trying to give you some useful information back. Thanks again!

    Thanks for the review man, been looking for a review on the v10 for some time now. Good looking out👍, question: What is the biggest grouping needle you would use on the v10 for lining? And Would you recommend the v10 for a lot of line work?

      @TheBeardedTattooer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      vinolin Naidu thanks for the kind words. Honestly I’ve used the v7 upto 12 gauge 11rl. So I know this will push at least upto that size and what kind of lining do you do? Traditional line work? Fine lining? Sculpting lines? Traditional it will take a bit longer cuz as I said you’ll have to slow down your hand speed a little for larger groupings, but the other two It would work great for without slowing down too much. If you have a slow hand speed while lining this will work for you. But some other machines I’d recommend if you wanna line large bold lines. It will do it but I feel thick lines are better with standard needles.

      @@TheBeardedTattooer I generally use it for the traditional and sculpting lines. My most common large grouping would be the 13rl, what machines would you recommend?

    Hey Adam, I hope you read this. I was wondering if the v10 is good for fine lines. I have a v2 and I always complain because I have to do several times to actually do a line and gets a little bigger or not so good.
    Thank you !!
    Cheers from Argentina !

      The v10 is ok with small groupings but if you want a liner don’t get the v10. The v2 actually lines better than it. I would get the mini direct drive because I can use both carts and standard needles. And it’s very lightweight and inexpensive. And it lines well.

      I like the cnc q2. I just dont see why people are so opinionated about what machine brands artist are running. What works for one guy may not work for another, and at the end od the day its about the quality of work being done. Just because someone has a bishop wand does not mean the artist is going to become a master instantly..

    Hope all is well Adam. Always good watching your channel. When you mentioned the "shortpen" in this video. Which one are you referring to exactly? If you have a moment to spare I'd appreciate the make and model so I can look into it. I actually just purchased my first pen. And I dont want to assume but I may have the 1 you're referencing here. I just purchased the all black CNC Q2. It's the 1 with the faulhaber motor. But that along with the hummingbird machine you recommended are still in the box as I'm pretty loyal to coil and certain rotary machines such as my bishop microangelo. Once I unbox these other machines I'll try to review everything myself. Bishop hands down has the best customer service I've ever had. Aside from that my clients and portfolio reflect my best work/season with the bishop microangelo. But I'm almost ready to explore some other machines and see what works best for me.
