Just got this machine. Have not used it yet but it is absolutely a solid feeling machine, made really good. I've used my buddies Sol and at first touch it feels the same too me. I'll update you soon when I use it.
You are right ,I bought à humingbird v2 out of curiosity to Try it out and it’s very good , better then my others more expensive machines ,so yeah I will get thé bronc v9 to try it out because all thé reviews I saw were good , I will get some cartidges too to try thèm out !👍
Yeah I bought the knockoff of this machine & pretty much wasted $25.. I'm learning the hard way I guess, although your videos along with some others are very helpful! I'm about to go ahead and order a decent machine but was stuck between the Hawink CNC Q2 & the Hummingbird Bronc V9.. because of your Bronc reviews I'm gonna get the V9 for sure. Got mine in the mail today and I think its worth the 160 I also have the valhalla from axys and the hummingbird short pen is just as good as my 600 doller pen good review I went with this machien thanks to you review and already in love with it but be real what is your fave machine from hummingbird
I would use a different pen. Personally I might use the mini direct drive or something since item really light and still powerful enough to put the dots in.

Bro check out the Yilong King Kong machine. Mine looks exactly like this as well and has the same motor. I surprised the shit out of myself when I first lined with it, so I had to take it apart obviously 😂 I immediately bought another one and they've both been super solid machines. I only paid $30 for them

I bought myself this machine and received it yesterday and hit its really soft. My lines aren't coming out strong even while increasing my hand pressure. It feels like it is in shading mode, how do I switch to strong lining mode? The description says "easily switch between linging & shading" - so I think I am stuck in shading mode and don't know how to change it since I am new to rotary pens. Can you help please Adam?
I took it up to 6.5v. I'm not sure if it's possibly attributed to the practice skin I'm trying it out on. Does it switch between liner & shader mode depending on the voltage?
That's right yes. It's a very oily-lik silicone type practice skin. I think it may be attributed to the practice skin. What is your opinion on that bro? I'll be doing a first run on my client tomorrow and see how it goes

Maurice Buckley thanks man. Depends on what style you’re interested in pursuing. The short pen is great with lines 1rl to 11rl or rs. And shading. It hits harder than most pens which I like. The v7 can do all because of the hit adjuster but the only thing for lining you’ll have to slow your hand speed down due to the voltage range. You don’t wanna burn up the motor running too high. The v5 and v8 ar pretty much the same pen. And are great for color work and shading. And small needle group liners.
Price of a machine doesn't make a artist any better all about the skills and just like your poster Bob Ross could have painted a masterpiece with a dildow. Bronc/hummingbird and bigwasp awesome products. I use them in my personal shop true til death mobile tattoo

Madrefesto oh my do NOT by dragonhawk the only dragonhawk that I’ve seen perform halfway decent is the raven, dragonhawk doesn’t spend money on motors they use busted ass motors and try to sell them for more than they’re worth. Hummingbird and Bronc are great machines and quality build and motors for great . Def get hummingbird over dragonhawk every time.
Adam_M_ Tattooing I have a bunch of dragonhawk machines, various extreme machines and recently the atom pen. They have alright hardware but you are right.... the fucking motors blow ass. I’ve only had one worth a while. I really want this short pen but I hate that humingbird/bigwasp/Bronc don’t have much details on their site. Do you know what kind of Swiss motor this guys use???? Is it a maxon? Or just a friken Chinese branded “Swiss motor” like the guys from CNC/stigma/solong.... that use a Faulhaber motor “made in Hungary” 😂

Hey bro ...Brother i got a bronc v9 recently... i tried to use it today ... it works when cartridge is off when i put it on ... even on 7 volts machine wont start ... idk what to do i remove cartridge n it runs if i put needles while running it ... it works n when i stop it n run again with cartridges it wont run
Dont take this wrong way but is the cartridge lined into the needle bar? Reason i ask is ive seen it happen like u just said n the reason was the cartridge was not locked in with the needle bar

Denny & Christina Urie yes this his harder than the v7. It’s a different motor and set up to hit harder for linework. The v8 is the EXACT same motor as the v7 and the v5 and it’s set up the same way. So it won’t hit harder than those. This machine I use daily for all my tattooing and it does great.

@@stoner8440 she takes different brand cartridges not different style cartridges most cartridges for tattoo pens and cartridge grips are universal they just have stronger or weaker springs/ membranes.

Go with the cnc machine bronc is good but the cnc with the faulhaber is alot like my bushop wand shader it hits almost the same

This isn’t a “hummingbird” machine. They just branded it as there’s. There is s Korean supply company that’s been selling them for awhile now.
SandRabbitRides wrong this isn’t the Korean one. That one is a cheap knockoff of the nova. And it’s also glossy. This one is matte and not korean
