In 1997 i worked Part time as a Truck driver. With a 18t Truck i drove newspapers from the printing factory in Vienna to a Distribution Ware house in Linz. Only night driving. When you had a Problem you talked it into your cb Mike you got 10 answers from other Truck drivers in that Moment. Extrem strong Community!!

I loved the time when i was 19 years old. Listening to Music from a Sony Walkman under my Helmet riding my Yamaha XT550 throu the night. My Favorit Music was and still is Jimmny Hendrx all along the watchtower, Doors Ride us on a storm, and so on. Was a wonderful time Long ago. Now i am in the End of my 40s

Gil I have the CRT SS 9900 fantastic radio it will cover 12/11/10m bands unfortunately it has no CW but very powerful radio, receiver is good and from my reports I always receive comments on how clear my audio quality. Nice bike Gil have not been on a bike for a few years not sure my knees would last.

So cool bike my friend. When i was Young i had a Yamaha XT550. Now i have a old BMW GS650. The Yamaha was cooler. Loved it. I have a working CB Radio in my Shack. Not really much Traffic on 11 Meters today in Austria. Back in the 90s when every trucker had a cb in his Truck i enjoyed Talking to them in the Night driving Home from my workplace in Vienna on the Highway A2 to my Hometown. All the best to you!!!

Why do ham radio operators have to be like that and I know it's not everyone. But when the skip is right on 11meters you can tell the ham operators are, because the way they speak on AIR, I think they forget what band they are on. And they start using their call signs. But you don't hear us little people on 11meters telling them to move on, anyway what I'm saying is why don't they just Amit it they use it. Especially when we get to America, or Canada or Jamaica. They love the skip, just like we do. But that's life and people like being in their own groups, thanks for the video, love the rig I got one and love it, 🇬🇧💯👍

I really don't know.. They can use 10m too, it's just about the same. I do use CB in my truck, but unfortunately I hear few people..

I have the Anytone AT5555 version of this radio. I use it for 10m and 11m with either my flowerpot or a 16-17ft wire on a 49:1. Great radio, does about 60w on FM and 40w AM out for the box, if you push it, it wil do 60w on SSB on peaks. Drives my 250w AMP without issue aswell. 27.355Mhz USB is almost NON stop jammed with Europeans here in my little neck of the woods....
Those BLOODY Italians, they may only run 60w output, but when that low output is running into hardline and on to a 12 element Yagi at 150ft in the air, YOU CAN HEAR their 30dB+ signals here in Australia even under water.....

Great video Gil, the Retevis website specs only say it is 28 to 29.7mhz though, not anywhere in the 27mhz

Hello !
