So I also have acne prone skin that’s super sensitive. I just double checked, and most of what I use can be found at target so I’ll list what I use here in case you’re feeling up for reccs from strangers. It might not work for everyone but it’s been my routine for over a year now and I’m very content with it! Cleanser: vanicream gentle facial cleanser (love this cleanser bc I feel clean but don’t end up agitated afterwards. I can’t use stuff that foams up a lot bc my skin literally revolts and I get hives. I never hear about this cleanser online, but it was recommended by my dermatologist and happens to be eczema friendly) Moisturizer: cerave daily moisturizing lotion (it’s a classic and a great price for the amount of product) Extra steps: ELF pure skin toner (I can’t handle most niacinamide products bc I’m too sensitive, so this was a really great find for me since toners are less concentrated) Selfless by Hyram mandelic acid and rice bran exfoliating serum (one of very few chemical exfoliants I can actually use bc of my skin sensitivities AND we can now buy it at target!) I have periodically thrown in other products, but I try to keep it simple since that’s what tends to work better for my skin :).

I have had acne for the past 16 years (I'm 26 now) and hsve finally realized that alcohol and fragrance irritate the hell out of my skin as well as dairy products and gluten products. Now my skin is clear as can be and I am so happy!! I also went vegan 😂 i also keep my skincare routine very simple with CeraVe salicylic acid cleanser and the matching face moisturizer and retinol (only at night).

I adore the Salicylic Acid Serum and Niacinimide moisturizer 😍 they’ve been daily staples for me for over a year and my combo, clogged pore-prone skin has never been clearer!

I tried a little sample packet of the byoma gel cream and it...makes me skin soooo soft. I actually REALLY like it. I think my skin is very dry? I'm learning about this slowly but I'm glad to find other men talk about it. I know it's silly to worry about cuz it's current year and everyone should be able to take care of themselves as these products are for ANYONE, but it does give me more comfort. I struggle a lot with stripping "femininity" from things like this due to being brought up with strict gender roles and all that. I know there's many other guys out there that talk about skin care too and I'm so happy to start my journey!!

I was at target yesterday and realized the typical cerve moisture I buy is now $22 for a small bottle. Would you recommend a skin care routine for a nearly 9 year old? My daughter uses a cerave routine is this ok? She gets few black heads and want to help prevent acne. She uses cleansing water, moisturiser with spf for day and eve one without all cerave. Also use the green cerave cleanser in bath

Hi Hyram I recommend trying out the Banana Boat simply protect suncreens for baby and kids they have the same ingredient list so simple no fragrance no essential oils as its name just protecting simply I am in love with this product I had a huge reaction with my previous sunscreen which was chemical so I switched up to a mineral one in the past I tried a bunch mineral but they were uncomfortable to wear and made my eyes so watery and itchy but this one is my favourite. ( They have 3 different ones baby, kids and sport dont look for the sport one because it is a hybrid sunscreen which contains chemical filters as well) Thank me later
I’m just now venturing into the skincare stuff. Iv always struggled with my skin but never knew anything about products to have a routine. Iv learned so much in just one day of watching your videos and already have a couple products in my cart that you have recommended so thank you and I will be watching your videos from here on out!! One brand I would personally skip is Naturium. I could never get over the sketchy launch. Someone who can’t be honest with the public is not someone I can trust and do business with. There are too many competitors on the market.

I get what you are saying about Naturium's dishonesty, but the products ended up being good, so is the deception that big of a deal? No one was ripped off or scammed in the end. I think that is why there was never a fine. I don't agree with the deception but if everyone got what they paid for and were happy with the products, then is it worth treating Susan Yara as the equivalent of racists like Jeffree and Shane? No.

I was at target yesterday and realized the typical cerve moisture I buy is now $22 for a small bottle. I’m assuming the price increase is due to their increasing popularity online, but unfortunately it is now a bit out of my budget as a college student. Would you recommend a skin care routine for a nearly 9 year old? My daughter uses a cerave routine is this ok? She gets few black heads and want to help prevent acne. She uses cleansing water, moisturiser with spf for day and eve one without all cerave. Also use the green cerave cleanser in bath

Hi Hyram I recommend trying out the Banana Boat simply protect suncreens for baby and kids they have the same ingredient list so simple no fragrance no essential oils as its name just protecting simply I am in love with this product I had a huge reaction with my previous sunscreen which was chemical so I switched up to a mineral one in the past I tried a bunch mineral but they were uncomfortable to wear and made my eyes so watery and itchy but this one is my favourite. ( They have 3 different ones baby, kids and sport dont look for the sport one because it is a hybrid sunscreen which contains chemical filters as well) Thank me later
