- Pretty crazy, in the span of less than two weeks, I've had quite a few new personal best's and other "firsts" in Progear lately! First, I got a 165 mil 2ALL clear, beating my old record. Then I NMNB'ed the entire last attack on the TLB on a different run. And now this.
My first loop, I must say, was average/low-average score-wise. My only death was in 1-2 right before the first bomb (and that's where you want to die by accident), then it was smooth sailing right until the end of 2-4. I was surprisingly calm the entire time I was playing this credit, which is good (as sometimes the numbers get in your head) and after a couple wasted resources in 2-5, I made it to the end and completed the game. :-)

Insane piloting skills in terms of risk vs reward with the bullet hell and chain explosion. Always marvel at how Cave programmers creat such intense bullet hell shoot-em-up.
One wonders what the likes of CAVE, PSIKYO, RAIZING would have created nowadays if it wasn't for past events of pandemic years. End of an era for 2D shoot-em-ups. So nice to see someone out there pushing the boundaries of high score runs are possible.

great game, used to play it at the arcade at one of the campgrounds we used to go to when I was a kid. everyone waited for a turn on that machine!

Just watched the whole run, beautiful. You're crazy holding onto your max bonus for so long, especially with how random some parts of this game seem. Looking forward to whatever you do with this game in the future

Epic run
I've recently got into this game. I wanted to know if you'd recommend practicing with difficulty turned up to 3. I'm only working on learning patterns and scoring. At first, i was trying to 1cc, but i was killing everything as soon as it appeared and wasn't getting much out of it.
Hi Dox! Personally I'd recommend playing it at default difficulty, just so you get the full idea of what the attacks and patterns will be. There is rank in this game, but it's fairly tame compared to other games. If you're killing things too quickly, you'll have to get good at feeling out the enemies hp. For example, if you watch me play the first stage, on one plane I simply tap the C button 3 times. That actually gives me the precise amount of damage to set up for either gems or rings, depending on what I need. Other enemies will show damage with a visual clue, like fire rising out of it. It takes some time to get used to, but eventually it becomes second nature!

This is ridiculous. I'm happy when i finish stage 1 with 1,3 millions, this guys gets 3 millions.
