From all of my heart I say thank you so much , I swear my teacher has been explaining excel and I didn’t understand most of them LOL , I did this as an excel project and I am confident about the grade I will receive, will continue watching your excel explanation
All I can say is WOW! I thank you sooooo much for this! I have been afraid/avoidant of Excel because I could not grasp some of the concepts above VERY basic lol... You have helped me tremendously! I'm so proud of my lil spreadsheet right now, I'm like a kid wanting to show everyone 😂😂... Thank you!!
The formula for 'Due Today' is =COUNTIF(D9:D41,TODAY()) ...That's open bracket and 2 close brackets after the word TODAY by the way. Awesome video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the awesome video! I added a cool formula that automatically decreases the number of high-priority tasks once they're marked as completed: =COUNTIF(xy:xy,"high")-COUNTIF(xy:xy,"completed") It's a simple trick, but it makes managing tasks so much easier! Just replace 'xy' with the relevant cells."
Hello and thank you so much for creating this video. I am learning Excel and it's a bit intimidating, but by following your steps, I was able to create this task management sheet which has boosted my confidence. As a freshman college student, it is key for me to stay organized and track my progress effectively. This will definitely help me, so thank you so much again. Happy holidays!
Great step by step tutorial! I actually use a ready-to-use to-do list template I purchased from Someka. However, it's good to know how to prepare a basic task list from scratch. Thank you for the video:)
Hello and thanks for sharing this tutorial. Today I was reading the book (Time management) of brian Tracy and in the middle He mentioned the Make a daily To do list. Then I search for vedio and I found this amazing.
Thank you so much, very user friendly guide to follow. I missed the number of tasks due "Due". Could you please provide the formula / guidance. THANK YOU
Great Video, thanks. Is there a way to automatically move ‘Completed’ items to a separate list or at least to the bottom of this list? Just looking to keep the main list for active items only. Thanks
@@jriis2010 I spent so long trying to get this formula to work. It is actually =countif(range, “TODAY()) You missed out the space in between the hyphen and the quotation mark. However, brilliant video it has been so helpful.
I know this was a year ago but I'm going to ask a dumb question. Does the formatting remain after the selected cells? If you fill up all the rows with tasks, and you're underneath the data area, did it continue or do you have to reformat everything? Sorry I know it's probably obvious. Thanks for your video. I learned a lot.
It is only applicable for the selected cells. You can select the cell that has been formatted and copy it and paste it in whichever cell you want the rule to apply to.
Please don't feel like you need to reply; I figured out what I was doing wrong: the right day and month but the wrong year. It seems I am still living in 2023, embarrassing lol
would be a great video, but the part with dates are confusing and impossible to execute, and it makes the whole video pointless. Should I put today's date or the date 2 days after, as it is in the video? its confusing

This sounds great! Where do I put this in the spreadsheet?
Short and straight to point. Thanks, Mark.

Thank you very much, I find my to-do-list is not as smart as I wish, your sharing is very useful!
Very useful Excel tutorial! Thanks for sharing, have a wonderful day :)
The Deadline part is what I am trying to understand
Thank you so much! This video is so helpful! You are very talented!!

Thank you for the video. Its very easy to understand 👍
Thank you glad that it makes things clear. Hope it was helpful in some way
You are the best.
great video
Thank you
What is the formula for due today, you didn't mention that in the video. Thanks
Thank you so much🤙
Great video! Thanks! Quick question can you have just the to do list on one sheet and the data at the top on the settings sheet? If that makes sense
Thank you so much, very user friendly guide to follow. I missed the number of tasks due "Due". Could you please provide the formula / guidance. THANK YOU
Shout out 👏👏
Thanks, very useful

So if the deadline is tomorrow it's overdue? I think you made a mistake with the conditional formatting.
Definitely a mistake - can you please correct it so I can follow this list
@@nenah786ify the correct formula for the Over Due counting should be =COUNTIF(D9:D32,"
Same with the Colour of the Deadline overdue should be less than =TODAY().
thank you so much, I just got one problem in the cell due today it doesn't change by itself please help
I really appreciate you for this, thanks so much! :)
thank you
@@excelwithmark- The formulae for overdue in the video is wrong. Can you please advise the correction. Thanks
This was a great video! I’m curious, is it possible to have a rule where a “completed” status moves to the bottom of the list?
You could sort by cell value and make it so completed goes to the bottom
04:50 it is better to choose cell above... completed ,in progress....
Thank you for this tutorial. Is there a way to create a separate list of tasks from this list that are in progress? Not just a count, but a list
Please tell me the formula you used for 'Due Today"
Genious
Where I get a training for excel ? Are you able to give me a training
sorry, may i ask Ctrl + what to use the format cell since i always use mouse to clizk it in the tool bar
I cant seem to find the part where you explained how to set the “Due Today” counter. Can you explain how to do it please?
=countif(range,"TODAY())
@@jriis2010 I spent so long trying to get this formula to work. It is actually =countif(range, “TODAY())

I tried that, it doesn't work
Hi sir, can you make a vedio that shows all of the "In progress" data please.
Hello the formule countif for the overdue, does not work for me. it says, IT may not be supported by older versions
If you convert that range into a table, everything is going to format automatically
When I add the =COUNTA (B8:B31) formula nothing happens. Also, the formula is still visible in the cell.
The formatting on the "Deadline" column doesn't work for me. No matter how many times I try, all the res is ok. Am I doing anything wrong?
Please don't feel like you need to reply; I figured out what I was doing wrong: the right day and month but the wrong year. It seems I am still living in 2023, embarrassing lol
12:08 I can't see what you are typing????
What is the formula for the due today?
Firstly, in Over due formula it should be "" sign, and Due Date formula would be the same with just "=" in it. Hope it helps!!
Please write the formula for due date properly, as this is the last bit I need to complete
I wish I knew how everyone saw what was being typed in and done. I’m struggling with seeing the screen.
would be a great video, but the part with dates are confusing and impossible to execute, and it makes the whole video pointless. Should I put today's date or the date 2 days after, as it is in the video? its confusing
alo due date is missing explanation, come on dude, I have spent like an hour on it already
In the deadline, I put 24/04/2024 and this task was completed. But according to the overdue formula, this task is overdue....how???
the correct formula for the Over Due counting should be as follow: =COUNTIF(D9:D32,"
MUU SE SUPPARI NIKAL KAR KE BAT KAR RE BABA
Wow, amazing you are the best ever
Great video! Thank you!!
