All of the others seem to think that the viewer is already extremely familiar with how excel spreadsheets work. I was reading the comments like "no way this guy's that good" but YES, HE'S THAT GOOD! Even as someone familiar with excel it's always helpful to have a refresher. This guy breaks it down SO SIMPLE. Step-by-step and at a pace where you can have your own sheet open to practice alongside him. Wonderful video!

This was better than a previous spreadsheet I done. I love this one the best. I did not add credit card b/c I pay everything with it to get the awards points. I just pay the card off each month. I followed this video better than having all the different pie charts and graphs like the other videos. Plus, I like seeing for the whole year even though I only tracked since aug. I will start 2024 off using this spreadsheet.

Wow. Solved the issue. I had to delete the totals of each section and put the equation in the REMAINING field. Then I added the equation to each total afterwards. Whew!!

Thanks, I realized there should be other source of income of employees, workers, business person's to whatever category belongingness, to whoever Matter or bigger Magog carriers, I learned that from your presented example personal data with many expenses though with improving income, maybe later.

Really great video. My only feedback is your BALANCE column is not a bank account balance, it’s more like NET INCOME (gross income - expenses). To finish the budgeting cycle, it would potentially be helpful to have a place to enter bank account balance each month, then show balance minus net income to track true cash available (and accurate spending). Very important to reconcile and find where you spent OUTSIDE your budget so you can course correct... that’s an important goal of budgeting : ) Thanks again!
