    what are the options of powering these devices?? I dont want these to rely on batteries. If possible i would want it to connect it to a power outlet or hardwired.

      Most DIY systems are battery operated.

    Can you pair any type of door and window sensor with any type of alarm system?

      Unfortunately you cannot most systems are proprietary. You would not be able to link certain systems together. Always check for compatibility with your alarm system.

      I think its safer to set them with different alarms ( I mean its how you know which door or Windows are being opened so that you can also find a safe place to hide ... i guess?

      Not when it comes to sensors. They always need a compatible home hub.

      Most DIY systems are rated for 3 months of battery with heavy use, but it does vary from product to product.
