One of the best videos about Smooth Q4. The way you explained the modes is brilliant. I am new to gimbals so I was trying to find a clear explanation for the modes and your video has that. To the point and well done.

The Apple gimble costs $250...way to much for my budget..LOL, since I am a beginner, i figure it is best to grab the last "ZHIYUN Smooth Q4"

So this is similar to the OM6, they both cannot perform the vertical tilt movement like the Smooth 5
I just got my Q4 Gimbal, I've never had a gimbal before, your video has been helpful. It seems it doesn't fit the Samsung S22 Ultra very well, It was recommended by Zhiyun that it would fit, but it hits on the sides when it flips from portrait to landscape. And some features don't work aswell using the Cami app, the app seems to default to video & getting to the photo is a physical touching of the phone, same for actually taking a photo, any tips for the S22 Ultra would be great.

Two downside for me:
1. Cant manually horizontal calibrate like you do in DJI. You're shit outta luck if you pull zhiyun out in the mountains or inside a ferry, or any kind of slanted environment.
2. Cant adjust how fast or speed gimbal will follow your hand movement. (U can control this in DJI). You can only control joystick speed in zhiyun.
Also the use of wheel on zoom function becomes useless, as you can't do a steady zoom in/out speed.

Thank you. When i´m rtecording a time laps suddenly stops, the four green lights start to "on and off" toghether and its like the gimbal was turn off, somebody kows what it is?? is ti normal? how do i fix it

Four slow flashing light indicates standby， make sure that you have adjust the phone balance before turn on the gimbal
Four quick flashing light indicates upgrade failure, you can upgrade the firmware via computer to try.
Why are there no videos of this working with Samsung Andriods???? Samsung got top noch photo/video capabilities

Just got the zhiyun smooth q4, how to just take a picture please ? When in photo mode on ZYcami, it switches to video when I push the record button on the gimbal....
Single press Photo/Video Button can take a photo (when in the photo mode of ZY Cami app). And double press the button can switch between photo/video mode in ZY Cami app.

The all gimbal is good with iphone but not with android phone.
Perhaps obvious, but any chance of a comparison between this and the DJI OM 5? I've used the DJI Osmo in an early version, but never a Zhiyun gimbal.
I've tried both. I'd go with dji
I’ve used both DJI and Zhiyun OM4, OM5, Q3 and Q4, although DJI is better and more premium gimbal, DJI modes cannot be used without going to app, so I prefer Zhiyun, first reason is mode button but second reason OM5 has very poor tilt axis, and design aspect is very annoying to have dangling mechanism, although looks pretty but completely non functional. Now Q4 has mode button like other Zhiyun, but stupid q4 trigger button doesn’t works with Native camera like my Q3, which is my preferred type of shooting, for easy click and go type of shooting. So basically I am waiting for OM6
@@shafishafi Yeap. DJI's lack of mode button makes it very tedious for us to change modes. (however, this could be updated through software. they can do something like hit the trigger button 3 times to change mode)
but for horizontal alignment, Zhiyun completely has no option to adjust that manually, if you're in a slanted environment.
and I also agree with the tilt angle with OM 5.
I would personally just stick with DJI OM4, wait until DJI OM6 comes out.
