i am playing it now for the first time after completing 1 and 2 in sequence. I knew what everybody where saying about this game but god... i didnt know it would be that good. I am still at level 18 and about 20% completion... but i am taking my time with it, doing all missions, experiencing everything this game has to offer. I do not need to finish it to say that it is BY FAR the best game i ever played. CD Projekt red has created a masterpiece. I hope we see another Witcher game...

You should try the first part of the game then! Maybe it's not that good in gameplay and graphics but it's story is the best! W1>=W3 Hearts of stone>W3>W3 Blood and Wine>W2.
Also try out the books if u can find them in english or in ur language, they are great too!

Definitely yes one of the best games: easily playable, great story (I loved the books) and... insanely beautiful. More than this ambiance is unique. I stopped for a while because I was at the end and feared to have finished the game...or should I say this experiment ?

This game is so special because it was made with love! It sounds stupid maybe, but this is what you feel playing that game. The love of those who made it. Love to Sapkowskis books, to Geralt, to slavic culture as well as to fantasy in general. Witcher 3 is a AAA game, but made with passion typical for some independent projects.

I'm Russian, not even Polish. And this game has a special place in my heart after all these years. 250 hours... Intense fights, spring loaded story, brilliant characters... Those feelings when you halt your progress through quests and just take a pleasant ride with roach through devastated land... Music plays... Slavic music, which resonates with something deep in my soul. I look at the burned huts and imagine that many centuries ago, like in 1300's this could be the exact picture of some medieval Rus' village which was overrun by Mongolian hordes... Dead bodies, ash and dust... My heart hurt when i was nearing the end of the last dlc, because i understood, that no game will ever be this great. There will be many good games to come, I'm sure. But not on the level of this one. This one is legendary. And after the decades pass, when I will be a very old man, I'll fire this game again. And complete this journey once more, before my death. Even though my life is only at it's beginning (21), I'm sure that Witcher3 will never leave my heart.
Dear Polish people, sorry for what my country did to yours throughout the history, and thank you for creating the studio that gave birth to a game that is my most favourite. This is pure art. Hope some day, after we will figure out how to strangle Putin's regime and get on our European way, all slavic people won't see each other as enemies. Then, We could travel freely between each others borders, have fun and enjoy the fruits of our slavic world. The world of wealth, hospitality, brotherhood and comradery, while remembering the stories of glory and fame, and stories about how enemies became friends. Salutations.

I think the music (which is entirely subjective anyways) is equally good in both games. RDR2 does offer more variety though, especially in terms of open world exploration. Witcher 3 has the same song (tied to the region) looped for eternity. I mean, it's good music but can become repetitive after a while. RDR2 takes a more subtle approach.. the music isn't as obvious and is meant to boost the atmosphere. As far as storytelling goes, RDR2 wins by a lot. Problem with W3 is it relies far too heavily on exposition. W3 does put RDR2 to shame in terms of post-release content... which I guess isn't hard to do since we're only comparing it with Red Dead Online, which is trash.

I love how Geralt never was meant to be a hero, he was a professional doing his job, you dont feel bad off character choosing greater good, and you never feel overpowered. Yes, lvl 5 bandit is a much smaller treat than some 50+lvl monster, but when there was about 6, 7 bandits on level five suroounding you, you never felt OP, they were still a treat, and if they played it correctly, you could even get yourself killed. One time about 12 wolfs in white orchant managed to bite my ass off, while i was lvl 18 at the moment, every time i got killed by a enemy that had level much lower than mine, i thought about the scene in which random villager killed Geralt with a pike, Geralt is not a god, or a superhero, he is just like everyone else, except he has experience. I think imma play one level of difficulty higher now.

I never forget when I left Poland in search of coin and prosperity... I went to USA Colorado... It's a beautifull place... But... One day... I found this music...
And cried like a baby with a smile on my face, I cant even describe this feeling, it was like a wake up call, after that I stayed there for 3 more months i decided to go back to Poland, to my beautifull forest, to the nature I love, to my people... And even though I have a tough situation, working hard for slave money... I'm happy that I'm back and I will never leave my country in search for welth, instead I'm gonna do whatever I can to make my country a better place to live, so my kids and their kids will live in a free nation where every man are equal... Damn... That's too much for one comment 😅

It is the single best game I have ever played. You get submerged in a whole new world and get nostalgic to times you've never visited. I cannot explain, but this game made me feel things that I didn't know of before. Please play this game and follow the story, do not skip cutscenes. I always have ideas in my head of places and times I would like to live in, and this game allowed my fantasy to improve. It even made me enjoy the little things in the real world more, like rain and stormclouds. It sounds ridiculous, but it is true.
