Every single time I hear this track it takes me back to experiencing this game for the first time again in May 2015. I had a really shitty apartment on a very busy block, broken AC barely working and the sun shining right on that fucker. So young and irresponsible, such a vibrant time in my life. Wonderful, the transportive quality of music and video games.
I LOVE ost's, specially when they catch u by surprise and demand your atention, i was focused while working and Velen Ex. 3 Variation A took me OUT lol absolutely gorgeous, tyvm for your time/work and every single upload you've made!^^
As time passes by, i appreciate the starting locations in this series even more. By starting locations i mean the Outskirts of Vizima, Flotsam and White Orchard. They just feel... real, like some villages that really existed back in the day with their own problems being the fundamental part of living in them. I love each of them for different reasons, but White Orchard is probably the one that feels the realest of them all. Everyone knows each other, they have common history and often strong resendment towards one another. It all just comes together in a beautiful way: the tragic story of a Lord's son and his lover, same Lord's crimes inflicted upon a new village, Tomira's relationship with her friend from said village, the witcher that was passing by- it is all connected and paints a blant picture of tragedies that happened to many people there. What i also love is the fact that it is all easy to miss and presented as pieces of information that do not make whole story on their own, and that you can miss most of it, if not all. I actually did, on my first playthrough i didn't bother doing most of the sidequests and only got a little bit of the story. I actually think this is where CDPR's greatest strength lays when it comes to writing a story.
I gotta say, I love the variations you made, they'd fit right into the game. I've been studying for my med school finals and have been listening to nothing but Skyrim and Witcher soundtracks while I do so, so these were a nice "variation" lol, thanks for that.

Some video games can improve ones situation so much in spite of some rather unpleasant circumstances. I hope though you have a working AC by now :)

This is on fire, love it!! 🤍
I'm happy you like it! :)
The White Orchard theme does things to me
I miss running around, completing all of the POI's before moving on to Velen _holy shit_
Velen is home though.
lovely

Nerver gets old
168 hours and I haven't even finished the main quest XD
26:02 Whoa
When on earth does this play?
Never. I made it myself by stripping off other instruments and isolating certain audio layers :)
@@Pharysz Wow, no kidding? It was more than enough to fool me, I was ready to scour Velen to look for it
@@absolutefoot4594 That would've been a waste of time haha :)
