It's 4 AM, deep in the night. You should be sleeping, but you're still playing Witcher. Running around the forests and meadows, immersed in the beautiful nature. You turn around and sharp sunlight pierces your eyes. For the next 10 seconds, you just stand there and gaze at the gorgeous sky, rays of sunlight following the edges of clouds like a paintbrush, mixing shades of blue, orange, red and gold. Your life might be a bit of a mess, but in this moment, everything is just perfect and peaceful.

This game was released in 2014 but I started playing this game this year.. I was in university when the game was released and couldn't afford a console or PC to play this game...
and I would say I regretted it, this game stole my life, especially Blood and Wine DLC.. I just hope I could have played this when I was free from any responsibilities.. it must be such a joy to play this game without a single burden in my brain..
I only can play this game on weekends.. not because I work 12 hours/day.. but because I wanna feel.. understand and enjoy this game.. The gameplay, maps, especially the story is the best among the best.
I spent my whole weekend only playing this game and I hated it when it comes to Sunday as my brain will be thinking of work tomorrow.. need to wait for 5 days again to play this game in peace..

So first i thought shivering islves for Oblivion was the best dlc ive ever experienced. It had a nice atmoshpere, awesome landscapes, wonderfully written characters, and that music!
Then i got Blood and Wine. At firs i thought it looked very similar to Oblivion. The landscapes have the same color scheme, the music sounds kinda the same....I played, and played and i fell in love with it. This DLC, for me, is better then the main witcher 3 game. It has everything. It wants to make you keep playing. You could just stroll arround for hours, imagining what it would be like to live in toussaint.

I love Toussaint, the magical nights, the soundtrack to it and it really feels like the end of Geralt's adventure. They really nailed with the place, far from war, famine, and monsters. Geralt being respected by the people, it's a far cry from the North. I quess Regis is right about Toussaint, good in small doses.

But when it came down to it you never really needed to use the signs or oils very much. Basically it's a super glorified hack and slash with epic graphic, atmosphere, and an interesting story. =)

I get powerfull weird feeling that sucks me in like a void i start to feel like i am inside the witcher world somewhere in Toussaint, Oxenfurt, or Novigrad sitting alone in dead quiet room with candle and idea that there is nothing more to do than just study. Its funny to say it even motivates me somehow to get work done as if when im finished i will walk out the room and explore the witcher world but it never happens so i just play the game instead :D as a small reward. Video game that gave me best gaming experience i've ever had , best music and cure FOR my adhd. I hope cdPR have witcher 4 in plans.

No my friend, it is not weird nor are you alone in these feelings. I played this game while I was going through the worst year of my life. It took a long time to finish only playing about an hour a week. Months of depressing, war ravaged Velen and other locales. My grandpa finally passed away from Alzheimer’s while I was playing heart of stone. It was obviously horrible to lose him but he was suffering and so was my whole family suffering and being torn apart. Then when I finally picked the remote back up and was sent off to this land of beauty, love and wine, to me it almost felt like a message from him that he was at peace now and where he was is now so much more beautiful than the horrible suffering he was experiencing here. My dream is to own a beautiful old estate in the hills with a Vineyard snd a beautiful herb garden for my wife and daughter, which I will name ... “______________”

But something about this makes it all feel like a vivid dream. One of those amazing wonderful dreams you get maybe once or twice in a life time. When you wake up you are extremely disheartened. This soundtrack gives me that feeling. But it still reminds me of that amazing dream feeling. I want to fall asleep and wake up in Toussaint. But the painful reality of that not going to happen and starting another week of work in 6 hours is there. So instead I shall fall asleep disappointed.
