I know this is is old video....but I hope you can see this and go back and look at yourself watching her sing. Most people are stopping and starting the video making comments......and you could tell you really wanted to....but she just flat out stopped you in your tracks!!!!!!! I'm laughing so hard right now. God love your heart.....you just couldn't speak! Plain and simple. Thats what she does to you. She grabs you......wrestles you to the floor and renders you speechless! Its a a soul thing. She was listening to this music when she was a baby. Can you imagine walking into her room and watching her little body being put to sleep by this smooth jazz? Its just crazy! She’s a prodigy, reincarnation, and beautiful miracle. I have watched this song alone 100 times at least and it never gets boring. I’ve also watched many other people give reactions to this song, but yours is the best because you clearly feel it mentally and physically and I was right there with you. No words required. Thank you for your insightful reaction to this Angelina Jordan performance. It is obvious that you are someone who appreciates the technical and artistic aspects of vocal music. After 40+ years as a music educator and jazz musician, I would say to all young singers: Don’t try to sing like Angelina until you know how to do it, especially where she belts out in the high register. Take voice lessons and learn everything you can about vocal technique and artistic styling. If you try to do what she does before you know what you are doing, you could severely damage your voice and may never be able to sing again. Angelina has a gift that, comparatively, very few people in history have ever had. All of her physical vocal abilities and sense of musical style came with her at birth and because her family played music all the time as she was growing up. She is a force of nature. You can aspire to sing like her, but don’t push it. We would like to see and hear you on TH-cam someday!

I was chuckling the whole time you were watching/listening. I've experienced this video more than a hundred times and I had a good idea what struggles between your eyes, ears, and brain were having; it never gets old and I am always amazed. No Words is a typical reaction to this performance and very understandable. She has loads of covers on TH-cam and she alters her voice to give respect to the original artist while making it her own. In many cases, her cover is better than the original performer who had years to perfect their performance. Often you will see Angelina referring to lyrics as she is new to a song and she still 'kills' it. Enjoy the journey. Great reaction, Thank you! She was 10 YO when this video was uploaded, but it was actually made as she was 9. It was very very different from all the other stunningly great performances we had got from her before this one. She really made a twist to our minds with this one. Making us ask (for the first time perhaps) is there anything this stunning talent can`t do. Meaning at that point; - in the genre of jazz. As a couple of years went by, with constantly new performances from Stunning "Velvet voice" Angelina, the question has become expanded to include most genres. We honestly belive these days, there is almost no genre she isn`t able to take on and perform to perfection.

This in homage to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, the original writer and singer of 1956, if you look for the original version, you will see that many of hers growls and treble are just in homage to the interpretation of Screamin'
Angelina is not only what you saw in this perfect performance (at only 9 years old), she is much more, even very different, but everything she does is at a superlative level ❤️
If you want to understand how talented she is from birth, look at her 4 NGT performances in 2014 (so about a year earlier), she was only 7 years old when she won him, but in those performances done in a few months and those are her first appearances public, you can already see what she was capable of and how her ability improves in that limited period of time. If you really want to exaggerate there is another recording in the studio made at 6 years old ((while reading the texts in English, which is only his third language !!!) it was his first recording and you can see his excitement 😊

She would have sold out (mini?) concerts but her parents protect her a lot and want the best for her rn cause she’s still a young girl. I was speechless after this, I couldn’t even process it. Please check out "Elina Ivashchenko- 1944" another rising star but from Ukraine. Elina was 14 during her whole "The voice kids Ukraine" journey, which she won. She was 17 when she won the "x-factor Ukraine". She’s now 18 and has also participated in the famous and big European singing competition "Eurovision". Another promising young singer. These girls are old souls.

Great, stunned, reaction, Juvi! Those who don't freak out or sit there stunned, as you just did, are obviously not into music. This is her iconic video, which is not to say it is necessarily her best one. Enzo recommended "It's a Man's World". It is also amazing. There is no official video of that concert. Thankfully Boris was there and did a yeoman's job of capturing decent sound from the other side of a moat or something. She definitely put something extra into this performance. I love to watch people’s reactions to this video, which is by far not her best, this is still during her development phase, but people are dumbstruck because it makes no sense for a 9 year old child to be this artistically developed. Yes, she was born with perfect pitch, but it’s her delivery and animation which makes this so incredible, and this was early in her development, by the time she was 12 she was in total control of her artistry!

She came from the planet "Talent" where everyone has some kind of super ability. She lived on the same street as Dimash and around the corner from Tiger Woods. She came in a rocket wrapped in a blanket which her family made into the outfit she wore on AGT, with the leftovers making the mask in the "The Show Must Go On" video. Her only "Kryptonite" is the Hollywood Music Machine.. So far, her family has done a great job shielding her. Hopefully she never gets caught up by it.

If you notice the name of the director Per Heimly That is Angelina's grandmother. The grandmother is also a well-known painter. As you go through Angelina's musical folder in the back-ground of her covers is usually one or more of Per's works. If you have already watched Angelina's audition for AGT The Champions, the outfit she is wearing she made. The pattern or design on the material was taken from one of her grandmother's paintings. Angelina was just born with music in her soul. Angelina also arranges all of her own music. Oh, she was 9 yrs.old here. Thanks for your reaction you seem to be getting that there is no defense against her voice. You just learn to go with it. Accept it as a fact that there is no explanation that makes any sense. So we just accept it.
Just for the sake of it, Per Heimly is not her grandmother. He`s a photographer and obviously also making films. The rest of the story is correct, Angelinas grandmother is also an artist, but I dont know her name, guess somebody else knows that. Probably Rusty S. is the man to ask:)
