She’s not the greatest live but you gotta respect the fact that they chose to play live at just about every performance they had. Which was rare in mainstream those days.
I always wondered what happened to this band: now after hearing them live I realize: this poor girl is so off-pitch, it ruins all the efforts of her band. It's a shame.
shuroom57 hmmm... if you say so. 😆 The Cardigans still play live shows around the world. The band had three more studio albums after this one. Nina is generally considered a very good vocalist and has been asked to sing with dozens of other artists over the years as well as creating a number of side projects of her own. In other words, the band wouldn’t have had much success (if any) without her. She and Peter (lead guitarist) were also the primary songwriters of the band. So I’m reasonably certain there’s no shame there.
@@kennethlatham3133 well, obviously , if I’m not hearing it, it’s not a problem for me. I would point out that my response to the original comment had more to do with the assumption that somehow the band never got anywhere because of Nina’s supposed pitch problems. That’s clearly, demonstrably, not true. Her own accomplishments (including hundreds of live performances), subsequent records with the Cardigans, solo work, collaborations and so forth, I would think speak for themselves. As for this specific performance, I’m not arguing perfection, but as a musician myself I think I can tell if someone is having serious pitch issues. It’s not 100% pitch perfect the entire time, obviously, but few live performances are. Even Freddie Mercury had his off days. So in so far as is she having real serious pitch problems (as the original comment suggested)? No, not really. Though take it as a biased opinion, or American Idol mom or however you put it. People are welcome to their opinion or whatever, that fine. If you think her pitch is a problem for you, then so be it. I’m sure I won’t convince you otherwise despite everything I just said.
Great performance just perfect as the album version
she actually sounded aweful
@@ВашаПолюстроваshe sounds good
It sounded like she had a lot of variations from the album. Not her best performance. The guitar had too much volume.
Love this classic !!! Beautiful 💖
Nostalgia pura.
thanks for putting this up! Have it in VHS but I think yours is a better quality version :)
25 years❤
Pure live performance!
Thanks man!!
Loved it ❣️
She's gorgeous and sounds just like the recorded version.
Seriously? Not even close.
Los shows de los 90´s eran tan bizarros :)
Legend has it Peter Svensson still hasn't figured out how to tune his guitar.
That does sound like a legend alright. Lol... or maybe that's the *real* reason Moto Boy is in the band now. Hmmm...
How can you be so loveable Lisa!
Nina ?
Cool
omg no i was born on that day
I love you Nina
She's gotta be singing about the guitarist. She looked at him like 4-5 times during keywords.
Same profile?
Женюсь!!!!!!
Она бабушка уже
They messed up beginning right?
She was very sharp in the beginning and flat in some sections.
Probably a bit nervous being their American debut.
okay, but why does rosie o'donnell hate her life?
It's impossible to make that singer look bad.
Nina Perrson *le sigh*

@@DSBac He is right the vocals are pretty bad.
