My landlord just installed a stove like this, and I was perplexed by the dual high-low settings on the knobs. Thanks so much for explaining that the left side is to heat the entire burner and the right is just to heat the center!

Thank you for putting this video on youtube. I just bought a Whirlpool range and the manual doesn't seem to say much of anything about how to use the control panel. I couldn't find any written or video instructions on the Whirlpool website. I don't have the same range you have but the control panel looks almost identical. So thank you again.

This video was extremely useful I always felt stupid whenever I had to make pizza rolls but I didn't know how to work the oven but no one really taught me anything either so my sister always did it for me so thanks

Is there a way to turn the volume of the timer beeps up or longer? My earring isnt as good as it used to be I couldn't find any info in the packet.

When the red cooker doesn't stay longer before going off, is there a problem? It takes longer for the food to get cooked. How can I make the red coil in the stove to stay longer before going off?
I have the fancy 550 model with coil cover on top inside the stove I noticed the pre heat takes longer then my GE stove, just an observation, having the bottom coil covered is nice for cleaning

How do you use rapid heat
I have this oven and the x button the button that turns off the oven isn't registering. What do I do?! Please help!
I honestly just own the same stove I don't work on them but have you tried unplugging the stove and plugging it back in?
Thanks for your video. I have the same stove. Got it new in November 2017----- I need to replace the first knob mechanism on the left side of the stove. It is just worn out, I use that burner all the time. I have to turn it a fourth of a turn or so to get the burner to come on. Do you know where I could get the mechanism and cost. I want to change it myself. Thank you----I just subscribed to your channel.

How does the button on the bottom left work. Saying “frozen bake / no preheat” we just bout this oven today. Thank you for your post No manual with this oven
It's so you can put a frozen item in the oven. Put the temp it says on the package and it should be done by the time it's listed on the package

Need to know more about the broiler..do you still leave the oven door slightly open or do you now close it all the way? Very disappointed with the manual that comes with this stove.
The manual is very vague I don't know myself I don't use the broiler

The indicator light for warning hot surface temperature will not go off after cool down. What can I do?
I'm not sure on what to do about that. I'd call the place where you purchased the stove and see if they can help you out. Wish I could help.
The control lock button is to lock the door ? My doesn’t lock I’m confuse
Hello I believe the lock is to lock your settings and controls so no one can mess with the temp and your cook mode. Not the door

Is this new oven supposed to be smokey when used for the first time? No plastic inside... The odor didn't smell electrical. Stove works great. 1st time baking anything in it.
Some one else said theirs did the same. It might be something that got on the heating element during assembly or something. Sorry I don't have the correct answer. Thanks for watching, and commenting
Okay... Googled "speaker" and asked. Apparently it's supposed to do this a couple of times. Like "seasoning" a Turkey Roaster before use. But still scary.

OMG, same here! Our new WFE535S0LZ arrived 3/31/2023 to replace an older Whirlpool electric range that came with our house, and finally went bad. I baked in the new oven on 3/31/2023, and smoke poured out of the oven vents...smelled bad, almost like an electrical fire. Set off kitchen smoke alarm! This new range replaced the first brand new one that arrived 3/17/2023 but never worked. So...we are so relieved to hear that others experienced smoking at the initial use. Baked in oven again (@300, then again @350) 4/1/2023...noticed a little smell, no smoke. Baking casserole in oven now (@400) 4/2/2023...no smoke no smell.
@@gwalsh8814 Seems like it only happened once. The smoke was really heavy then. The second time using it, not so much. But now everything seems fine.

I just had this range/oven delivered yesterday. I used it last night and noticed the oven light does not come on automatically when the oven door is opened. The light goes on and off only by the light button on the control panel. Can someone confirm if the oven light is supposed to come on automatically when the door is opened? Thanks!!

Mine will say it until it cools down. Not sure if that's what yours is doing too.

The range you should just be able to turn the know to the settings you want. The oven hit the bake button then set your temp. That's how mine works any way. I don't know if that helps

I want to know a bout the whirlpool cook top, the stove is not heating up , and the food is not cooking, even though its on high, its very frhstrating, I keep in in 8, then !power it to 7, but it still doesn't cook the food.
I would contact where you bought it from. I don't work on them I'm just someone who bought one also. Sorry I can't help more
Question I'd set the oven temperature keep going down.. won't lock in new stove.
Ours wouldn't climb higher in temperature once and it ended up being the motherboard needed replaced. It was still under warranty.

I have this exact oven but why is it so complicated to work. Thats why i never use it. I use my toaster oven. But when I'm cooking meats like chicken meatloaf etc in the toaster oven sometimes it doesn't cook all the way and it be red in the inside. I usually put it on 350 but idk that's enough and if i should put it on a higher tempature
Is there anyway you can teach us how to use range on top and to use oven below. Also how do we get the lock off
You just turn the knows for where you want your pan on the stove top and put the know on the setting you want. Hit the bake or broil buttons for the oven. Set the temp you want. I've never used the lock on mine so I'm not sure how that works
I have somehow LOC the controls. How do I clear it. As soon as I hit BAKE, the screen aays LOC. Help please

Where did you order the motherboard I have this exact stove that the top works fine but no clock display and nothing from the keypad at all so oven can not work without the buttons. Any help is appreciated I don’t wanna have to buy an entire new stove I hope not anyway
The place we bought the stove fixed it. We had the extended warranty on it. Hope that helped. Thanks for watching

I'm not sure. I made a video where our oven wouldn't get hot just stay around 170 I believe. It was from the motherboard. It had to be replaced. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Sorry I can't help more.
I have a brand new whirlpool stove before using stove should we clean it. Because we turned it on and smoke was coming from it and it smells
I think ours did that too. It's probably because it's new. I'd think it'd be ok unless it keeps doing it or maybe ask the place you bought it from
No idea if you should clean it before initial use, and the manual was useless. If it's any consolation, our brand new Whirlpool range (delivered on 3/31/2023) smoked like crazy when I baked in the oven the first night, and smelled awful. Tonight (4/2/2023) is my 3rd night using the oven, and there's no smoke or smell. Maybe there's a break-in period???

I'm not sure why it'd be doing that. Did you try unplugging it and wait for a little bit then plug it back in?
