    Aren't all these models actually made by Whirlpool? Different models with each having a slightly different shell and new name plate? I repair many different appliances and they all seem to have the same components except for Bosch and a few others. Perhaps it's just the lower end models that each retailer buys a Whirlpool model to rename. I found one of your comments to be conflicting with the rest of your evaluations. You mention that one model has a heating element by the convection fan making it a superior air fryer, yet all the other ovens that have conventional convection available, were stated as having no effective difference to air frying. So which is it? I understand the physics of having an element by the fan but it's all temperature controlled in the end so it shouldn't make any difference.

      I bought mine second hand and the ovens are very confusing.. name wise there is embossed on the bottom over Whirlpool but a sticker on the top front says USA. I can't figure out how to use the oven. The burners were simple and came right on but the oven buttons do no respond.. so I came here looking for a key. thanks for you post.

    The problem with smart ovens is if it's connected to wifi, someone can get into your network and control everything. So if I'm out and someone is in my network, they see smart devices they can get full control.

    Thank you so much, your videos are so helpful, I need all new appliances. Thanks to your videos I've decided on a dishwasher and refrigerator. But not sure which induction Range yet, I need one that cleans it's self and one with knobs, I am sick the finger pressing buttons they don't last. Any ideas? I bake a lot of sourdough bread etc. and cook a lot. Thank you again

    This seems to focus on the ovens, not the cook top. For #3, you show a gas cook top in some shots yet the title is "Best Electric".

    I’m disappointed that you only reviewed the most expensive models. Most people can’t afford the 1,000 or more stoves.

    General electric has been bought off by Japan, parts are hard to get & expensive.

      We just bought a GE range 3 weeks ago, and the wires in the oven shorted due to low caliber wires being used and bad parts causing a ground fault. Stay clear of GE.

      @@laflammc just curious. Was yours a GE Profile or regular GE? Usually products made in Japan are quality items. Where was yours made and what model do you have? I bought a GE Profile range in 2008 and not a single problem. I'm moving soon and want to buy all new.

    • @laflammc
      @laflammc 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sfopaladin2661 it was a GE model JCS840SMSS and was either assembled in the USA or Mexico because of the lovely grafities in spanish inside the unit that included choice words such as Putana... I will steer clear of GE from this point forward ... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/GE_Appliances and it's now chinese majority owned.
