I feel like this animation is missing some plot point, but think: in the dream, everyone was oblivious to the life swapping that happened between Emily and the MC. If Emily where to claim back her seat, everyone will think she's absurd because for what they know, she never even have the manager position; it was the MC that have it. My head canon is that Emily dreamed this earlier than the MC, so when she looks oblivious to the situation, she's actually being indifferent.
I feel like the best logical explanation is that they had similar dreams, but they were not shared dreams. Therefore they both played out differently, but similarly.

It's a huge reason we have a crappy low wage economy, because of all the feel good crap about how 'money doesn't buy happiness', even though people genuinely are happier if they're not worrying about their next meal and if they'll have a home. The propaganda of 'oh, sure, you're working yourself to death for crap wages, but your life is really more fulfilling because you have friendship' is bullshit. Rich people have friends, too, and it's a lot easier to spend time with those friends if you're not stuck working a full time job and still don't have enough money left over to do literally anything.

But also, OP noticed this as a pattern across several of these videos. If you widen your scope from this one to several more, you might see what we mean better.
