How does backround invistigator looks at the previuos Job Reference? I had a part time bs job at car dealership of where i failed a drug test, and gotten fired. It had been over 7 years. I know i have to be honest with invistigator, will this disqualify me automatically?
I applied past two years and got rejected after filling out the personal history statement (PHS). I want to apply again but I also don’t want to seem like I’m just randomly willynilly applying. Any thoughts?

If you had a job working at motel before you apply to become a police officer, and that motel you worked was known for illegal activity such as drug and prostitution would that disqualify you from the job even if you were not involved in it
@@12matheus34cabral they offer me the position last week. I’m starting the academy on April 2nd. If I were you, every month just email or give them a call. Ask them if you’re still in the hiring process and if there is anything else they need from you.
I have a juvenile record too, it’s been expunged, 4th degree charge, I too was rejected by NJDOC, seeing this video made me way more confident! Which department were you hired by ?
They do credit checks. They wanna make sure you're not liable for taking a bribe and become corrupt. If you have bad credit get it fixed and when filling out all your info it'll ask credit information and answer it and explain how you fixed it show your dedication to wanting the job that you handled business by working hard and paying off debt and building up your credit.
I got denied for not paying 3 credit cards and letting them go into collections. Lawyer advised to never pay collection agency and its been 5 years but the county still rejected me.@@FreddyD177

why did you not get hired by SEPTA?
