Aka the really competetive crowd has plenty of reasons to get frustrated by the Overwatch "ranked experience". "Casual Bronze Dad" won't mind, he just wants to have a good time. This is a simple case of "ignorance is bliss".

My G, it WAS a goddamn Dad-Diff. Dad rolled the Rein and Tracer on multiple occasions, and absolutely bullied the Orisa with his Ults. He unironically carried the game, even if by accident. "He's a little confused, but he's got the spirit."
And kiting a Rein Ult is fairly hard, especially for Torb, who can't really block it. The way Dad dodged also caused Rein to swing more to the right, which meant the shatter missed Lucio and hit nothing, allowing Lucio and Dad to both stay alive and win the game by baiting Rein.
This is great, from his mechanics and his decision making you can tell that he started playing games when he was a lot older, hope he has fun and keep doing it.

Low elo players never expect flanks pretty much, and I mean up through all the "metal" ranks. Heck, even by the turret simply existing in the positions you put it, you forced the tracer to waste resources to TRY to kill it, and usually she died in doing so even if she succeeded. And the highground made her even less effective against turrets due to her range on her gun spread and no vertical mobility. Keep up the great work and the fun!

I think its adorable that he's a Torb otp when Torb is (as far as I know) one of the only dads in the cast who's child is also playable. And hey, both torb's gameplay and his animations describe his relationship with his turret akin to a father and son. In a weird way, being a father and a torb main are just a perfect combination.
My dad's favourite character has always been torbjorn, so in solidarity a few years back - my brother and I both got his gold gun, made our dad absolutely ecstatic :D
I have an odd appreciation for people who play games just for fun. I’ve come across many people who take games way too seriously, that it’s unhealthy. This dad here just seems to be having fun, and I can appreciate that.

If someone is on a losing streak, but they’re mature enough to handle their emotions properly, pushing through that losing streak could be beneficial to sort of ‘stress testing’ themselves, and see if they can ascertain what’s causing their losses and fix it. If it’s just making them angrier and angrier, and they’re not mature enough to handle their emotions, with no performance benefit, it’s best to just hang Overwatch up for the day and go do something else.

I'm 48 and play Overwatch. Much respect to Flats for honoring the Dads of Overwatch. Torb is the ultimate Dad main. He protects his home with turrets and lava moats and a shotgun. He provides security for his support family by keeping those pesky Tracers and Genji's at bay. I'm not a Dad myself, so I main Lucio and Soldier 76 on the offensive, but if I were a Dad, I too would main Torb.
See, I love it when you start to cheer. Roasting almost feels like low hanging fruit when they're already in bronze. XD Roast the know-it-all plats or something.
Dead serious, those turret placements were shockingly good for a bronze. Also LOVE the flank Molten Cores. Guess the 1 tricking of Torb pays off! But yeah just being more discretionary with his firing would prolly go a long way, even if his aim isn't so great, he'll be able to focus on more important stuff, also not have to reload as much. I'm so glad he alpha'd the tracer who originally seemed to be a bit of an issue. You love to see it.
Things I learned from this vod: 1 - In bronze everyone is teammate and enemy team, just shoot anything that's move ftw. 2 - I need Flats's voice in the game saying "this is your turret, please, stop shooting your own turret" for every time my shots pass through my turret. 3 - Do not question a dad's Torb nut.
He asked glasses for colour blindness, yes there are such things and the came had colour blind mode also. Maybe that's why he kept shooting his own team mates so much? If anyone know him, maybe help him with it?

Getting to the point where someone on the other team is solo ulting your turret and STILL dying to it anyway is an achievement in it of itself.
