In my opinion, it’s more I think since most of us grew up with this show we all wanted to end happy for Timmy and the fairies and this reboot kind of made it seem like things and terribly for him and I think that’s why they wouldn’t give it a chance

I noticed in episode 1 that Cosmos and Wandas room in the apartment has a picture of Poof on the wall, so my guess that the Wishology trilogy has also took place in Hazel's timeline

Exactly, from what I remember throughout the trilogy we saw Cosmo, Wanda, and Foop as humans, Cosmo and Wanda in Grow Up Timmy Turner trying to ruin Timmy and Tootie’s date, and Foop I forgot why he became a human. But the point stands, if Cosmo and Wanda can change to humans why not Timmy

I really want to see the continuing version of Channel Chasers showing episodes about Timmy's kids Tammy and Tommy doing things with Cosmo and Wanda. Also showing Tootie grown-up married to Timmy showing that she is the mom of his kids.

As a black man who’s researched as far as he could, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is the only GOOD black kids show now. The really sad part is that there’s barely any good black kids shows running right now. I’m sure there’s some I haven’t heard of. But then you look at shows from the big three networks. Young Dylan sucks, That Girl Lay Lay sucks, even The Proud Family reboot sucks now. All three networks have been sabotaging practically every show that isn’t a spin-off, sequel series or reboot for like the past 5 years now. This unfortunately includes Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. And who knows if that show will get a third season. Raven’s Home, Craig of the Creek and the latter show’s spin-off, Jessica’s Big Little World are all over now. Iyanu: Child of Wonder which we’ve waited for almost two years was just announced to be delayed to 2025! The best we can hope for is that A New Wish stays consistent with their quality moving forward. A modern Fairly OddParents show. Who’d have thunk?

Yikes on bikes, they tried to _reboot_ The Proud Family? That one was doomed to failure before the elevator pitch honestly. The original was good for its time, but was very much intended to _remain_ a product of its time, _without_ any attempts at (ew) "modernizing" it.
Unpopular opinion: i liked the live action ending. Let's face it, Timmy had way too many chances to "grow up" and be responsible. This outcome actually worked out really well for him and he can do good as a fairy. And Cosmo and Wanda can take on adult human forms so I'm sure Timmy can too...and he finally grew out of his buck teeth: suck on that, Dr Bender.
Me too. My opinion the best ending all story Timmy's is in live action. He grown up, he has job, he remember wanda, cosmo and poof and still has contact with their, he has Tootie as love his life.

just a thought: what if the writers are going for a multiverse of timelines? No one timeline is the true timeline (except for Channel Chasers please Nickelodeon) and every timeline we've seen are technically real and still on-going INCLUDING A MUCH DARKER DARKEST CC TIMELINE! that is honestly a series I would enjoy for Fairly OddParents and I hope they go through with this idea.
Timeline A is my favorite, cause older dystopian Timmy was so well written. Actually helping Timmy learn that while growing up is tough it isn’t all bad. And telling him he’s a good kid. If I had the opportunity I’d definitely want to tell my younger self that.
If A New Wish is connected to Channel Chasers, we absolutely cannot forget that Timmy's kids are not him. They might not be as lucky or crafty as him They could've been total buffoons and gotten their Fairies taken away a week into it. Leaving Cosmo and Wanda free to meet Hazel.

So if timmy went to college at age 18 and ( in theory), he had thommy and tammy at the age of 26 it would mean it would be 20 years before Thommy and tammy get cosmo and wanda assuming my math is right cosmo and wanda are going to have another god kid after hazel and before thommy and tammy so they've only been retired 10,000 years relative and 2 years our time

Also, I know he won’t be coming in season one of this, but I’m glad to know that we finally got a timeline all cleared up. I like the head cannon that this is a prequel to the Channel Chasers timeline. It was stated that Timmy lost his fairies at age 17, so this could be that in-between period of Cosmo and Wanda temporarily retiring from Timmy, finding and helping a new godkid (Hazel), and eventually returning to the Turner household as Tommy and Tammy’s fairies when Hazel eventually loses them. It was also stated that Hazel’s brother went off to college. Wouldn’t it be interesting if one of his college friends happened to be Timmy Turner?
If I was Timmy I have a way to solve keeping my fairies problem. Using the Fairyversry Muffin to keep my fairies during adulthood or change the rules for adults to have fairy Godparents as well.
And we have yet to see poof make an appearance in the new show albeit much older assuming Cosmo and Wanda was sort of raising Poof in between varying parts of their retirement. Now, most of the events of the show and live action parts could have still happen in the channel chasers timeline but slightly differently. As keep in mind in many timelines and parallel worlds, things can happen much differently or slightly different from the prime universes timeline. So in the prime timeline Timmy could have gone through losing his physical human body but reattained the form with help of the high fairy council helping rebuild his magical body into his human form. I'd find it cool if as an adult he has magical abilities but he doesn't use them unless necessary. And just acting like he doesn't recognize Cosmo and Wanda because of the fact it'll be awkward for his children.
Well considering Cosmo and Wanda mentioned being retired for 10,000 years, and their last god kid was a caveman.. *Revealed in first episode* It could be possible that Tammy and Tommy did have them first, at least from hazel's Cosmo and Wanda's perspective. Meaning.. While Hazel has them, those two ALSO have them. Or a version of them at least. Considering AJ is shown in "Crock to the future" as an adult, roughly the same age as Timmy in channel chaser's future scene. This would make TOTAL sense. Then after founders day we can totally confirm that Dimmadelphia is a newer city founded by Doug Dimmadome. It's possible we could get a Dimmsdale episode in the future, maybe cosmo and wanda left something important at a previous god kids home and Hazel has to sneak in the home to get it.. Bumps into the other Cosmo and Wanda and assume they are hers. I also choose to believe Dimmadelphia is actually what happened to Brightburg after Timmy's mom destroyed it xD
I definitely think that it’s unfair how many different timelines we have for Timmy but Danny Phantom only has one and it’s even more upsetting for people like me who don’t like Phantom Planet. However considering that some of these timelines are quite depressing it also loses some appeal from time to time. However at least we have fan stories where you can make up your own ideas. New Wish as a cartoon sounds like it might be a good series for me to watch in the future. Thank you for sharing this video with us.

I liked that they make it their own rather than buckle down on forcing an ip to their demand or changing the character. since hazel is not a retcon Timmy or Timmy with a new personality but her own person. both Timmy and Hazel are based on their creators thus work on their person. also they avoid the season 11 mistake of sharing characters .
Live action was the worst, I forgot about the cousins one. XD the forgotten become an adult wish version from season 1. XD. Whatever future I hope he ended up with Trixie. She was always my choice for him ever since the Gender bender episode where she turns to be a tomboy and they actually had a lot in common.
It is possible that Vicky herself may be the mother of Timmy's children. 1. Since children could get recessive genes, they look like their father, Timmy's parents, or they could get genes from their grandmother (Vicky's mom), this would explain why they do not look like their red-haired mother. 2. The fact that we don't see Vicky is because she works a lot and is rarely at home, and in all likelihood Vicky herself instructed Timmy to raise the children himself, since she doesn't have time to raise children and that she is busy. 3. Vicky would not be the best mom, she could well punish the children for some kind of prank, for poor grades or because the children run away or skip school. But she could also protect them from danger and send them gifts on their birthdays.
I'm NGL When the live action movie was announced I was excited about it and honestly really enjoyed the movie, Timmy being a man child was strange but felt on brand for the character, and I enjoyed the Love story and the "Vega" Tootie glow-up. What really bothered me was how the last movie ended, Timmy turning into a fairy felt very strange to me, and the way timmy was enthusiastic about it felt out of character, considering their was an episode where he wished he was a fairy and hated it, it was like the writers didn't care about the canon and just used this as an oppourtunity to slightly bring back the original timmy design voiced by Tara strong, which is very werid since him and tootie are their still dating, and he could have at least transformed himself to a adult human form.
I imagine beside season 9 and 10, rest of the seasons would be canon but with some very solid differences in some parts. Like Poof, I actually liked his character and I would love to see Poof showing up with his voice not just sounding like 'poof poof'. And yeah, Timmy would not show up in season 1 because it would be leaning too much into nastologia and he would very much overtake Hazel if he showed up.
I believe timmys reap secret wish is he wish to split his life into different timelines so a piece of him can have a chance to keep cosmo an wanda longer
Cosmo and Wanda were indeed just time travelling during their 10.000 year vacation, so even though they felt all those years, not much time passed between Timmy’s timeline and Hazel’s.
Timmy's daughter's nose is rounded like Trixie's. It's a weird detail to add if their mother was toothie and they don't resemble her outside of using glasses.
The first episode of the new series has a bit where Cosmo and Wanda say that, the last time they were godparents, they lived in a fishbowl for what felt like twenty years (the length of the original show, including the "Oh, Yeah! Cartoons" shorts) but was actually seven. This fits with the timeframe of Channel Chasers and indicates that Hazel is the first godchild Cosmo and Wanda have had since Timmy, meaning it can't possibly be timelines C or D. As indicated in the video, timeline B was erased in the episode that introduced it, leaving timeline A as the only possibility.
All we know about Timmy's age in this series is that he should be 18+. For all we know Hazel could have Cosmo and Wanda before Tammy and Tommy or she could have gotten them after.
Im old so i prefer channel chasers ending and honestly with how trixie was initially portrayed, i wouldn't be surprised if they ended up together. I think like she was on track to mellow out
The new timeline is actually the channel chasers one; for one the first episode shows snippets from the original episodes, and in a later one, cosmo says with their last godchild they were stuck in a fishbowl for what felt like years, and wanda says it was "technically only 7". if you do the math, timmy is 10 in the original show, and in channel chasers he has his godparents until he is 17, losing them at 18. The bus driver has been confirmed to not be timmy so it is just timeline A.
It could be the other way around and the new show takes place after the end of channel chasers. A discrepancy of 8 years wouldn't make that much of a difference.

I'm gonna say this about timeline B, both father time and the fairy council did a very bad job trying to fix timmy's secret wish. We see that instantly warping the world 50 yrs in time *wasn't* good at all, everyone noticed they were 5 decades older and not looking at it as a gag no one could work the technology that was now present in future B's dimmsdale, it's honestly a good thing timmy fixed things at the end of the special
I think prime timeline is canon but some of the seasons after that are the events in timmys life that hadn't happened yet. Remember he keeps the fairy's until he is 18 so he knows when he will have to say goodbye. Wishing to not age probably was a result of the channel chasers where Timmy more or less lied to Cosmo and Wanda for he had already told Cosmo he didn't want to age at all. That however doesn't mean what we saw at the end in 20 years into the future didn't happen for at some point after the wish is made Timmy grew up.
2:43-Bruh! Is this actually Timmy's way to make his kids get fairies? 4:55-Well,she got a good glow up. 9:15-Jorgan got himself an adult human body,and Wanda mentioned at some point that all fairies can do that,so fairy Timmy should be able to do it too.
A bit later into a New Wish, def think that it's probably a Timeline E. Born out of a divergent wish or action done in Timeline B (Maybe Timeline B and D are the same tho). It has a lot of callbacks and the showrunners mentioning Channel Chaser's future yeah. But the CC future has a degree of tech and character statuses that don't really line up with A New Wish's far more contemporary take on the 2020s. So personally, I say it's a Timeline E spun out of some major event relating to Timmy's final wishes as a godchild (thus why A New Wish has so many new Rulz that are pretty much explicit references to Timmy's actions in the OG series)

What About Poof? My guess is that he’s grown up too as I’m pretty sure seasons 1-7 of the original series are canon and maybe 8 as well.

Timeline A is my favorite, cause older dystopian Timmy was so well written. Actually helping Timmy learn that while growing up is tough it isn’t all bad. And telling him he’s a good kid. If I had the opportunity I’d definitely want to tell my younger self that.
If A New Wish is connected to Channel Chasers, we absolutely cannot forget that Timmy's kids are not him. They might not be as lucky or crafty as him

Honestly, I can’t blame Timmy for having Cosmo and Wanda for so long have you seen his life? Also, I know he won’t be coming in season one of this, but I’m glad to know that we finally got a timeline all cleared up. Does anyone else feels like when season 10 came out and Chloe was brought in that Timmy became like a side character in season 10.
But during channel chasers, they were gonna fire Vicky, so his life could have gotten better, but he wanted more time with his fairies, and the og ending was to show that he was contempt with that life

I like the head cannon that this is a prequel to the Channel Chasers timeline.
It was stated that Timmy lost his fairies at age 17, so this could be that in-between period of Cosmo and Wanda temporarily retiring from Timmy, finding and helping a new godkid (Hazel), and eventually returning to the Turner household as Tommy and Tammy’s fairies when Hazel eventually loses them.
It was also stated that Hazel’s brother went off to college. Wouldn’t it be interesting if one of his college friends happened to be Timmy Turner?

I think it is Timeline A, but where his kids does not need fairies.
And we have yet to see poof make an appearance in the new show albeit much older assuming Cosmo and Wanda was sort of raising Poof in between varying parts of their retirement. Now, most of the events of the show and live action parts could have still happen in the channel chasers timeline but slightly differently. As keep in mind in many timelines and parallel worlds, things can happen much differently or slightly different from the prime universes timeline. So in the prime timeline Timmy could have gone through losing his physical human body but reattained the form with help of the high fairy council helping rebuild his magical body into his human form. I'd find it cool if as an adult he has magical abilities but he doesn't use them unless necessary. And just acting like he doesn't recognize Cosmo and Wanda because of the fact it'll be awkward for his children.

It could be possible that Tammy and Tommy did have them first, at least from hazel's Cosmo and Wanda's perspective.
Meaning.. While Hazel has them, those two ALSO have them. Or a version of them at least.
Considering AJ is shown in "Crock to the future" as an adult, roughly the same age as Timmy in channel chaser's future scene. This would make TOTAL sense.
Then after founders day we can totally confirm that Dimmadelphia is a newer city founded by Doug Dimmadome. It's possible we could get a Dimmsdale episode in the future, maybe cosmo and wanda left something important at a previous god kids home and Hazel has to sneak in the home to get it.. Bumps into the other Cosmo and Wanda and assume they are hers.
I also choose to believe Dimmadelphia is actually what happened to Brightburg after Timmy's mom destroyed it xD
I definitely think that it’s unfair how many different timelines we have for Timmy but Danny Phantom only has one and it’s even more upsetting for people like me who don’t like Phantom Planet. However considering that some of these timelines are quite depressing it also loses some appeal from time to time. However at least we have fan stories where you can make up your own ideas. New Wish as a cartoon sounds like it might be a good series for me to watch in the future. Thank you for sharing this video with us.

I liked that they make it their own rather than buckle down on forcing an ip to their demand or changing the character. since hazel is not a retcon Timmy or Timmy with a new personality but her own person. both Timmy and Hazel are based on their creators thus work on their person. also they avoid the season 11 mistake of sharing characters .

It is possible that Vicky herself may be the mother of Timmy's children.
1. Since children could get recessive genes, they look like their father, Timmy's parents, or they could get genes from their grandmother (Vicky's mom), this would explain why they do not look like their red-haired mother.
2. The fact that we don't see Vicky is because she works a lot and is rarely at home, and in all likelihood Vicky herself instructed Timmy to raise the children himself, since she doesn't have time to raise children and that she is busy.
3. Vicky would not be the best mom, she could well punish the children for some kind of prank, for poor grades or because the children run away or skip school. But she could also protect them from danger and send them gifts on their birthdays.

I'm NGL When the live action movie was announced I was excited about it and honestly really enjoyed the movie, Timmy being a man child was strange but felt on brand for the character, and I enjoyed the Love story and the "Vega" Tootie glow-up. What really bothered me was how the last movie ended, Timmy turning into a fairy felt very strange to me, and the way timmy was enthusiastic about it felt out of character, considering their was an episode where he wished he was a fairy and hated it, it was like the writers didn't care about the canon and just used this as an oppourtunity to slightly bring back the original timmy design voiced by Tara strong, which is very werid since him and tootie are their still dating, and he could have at least transformed himself to a adult human form.

I imagine beside season 9 and 10, rest of the seasons would be canon but with some very solid differences in some parts. Like Poof, I actually liked his character and I would love to see Poof showing up with his voice not just sounding like 'poof poof'. The first episode of the new series has a bit where Cosmo and Wanda say that, the last time they were godparents, they lived in a fishbowl for what felt like twenty years (the length of the original show, including the "Oh, Yeah! Cartoons" shorts) but was actually seven. This fits with the timeframe of Channel Chasers and indicates that Hazel is the first godchild Cosmo and Wanda have had since Timmy, meaning it can't possibly be timelines C or D. As indicated in the video, timeline B was erased in the episode that introduced it, leaving timeline A as the only possibility.

All we know about Timmy's age in this series is that he should be 18+. For all we know Hazel could have Cosmo and Wanda before Tammy and Tommy or she could have gotten them after.

The new timeline is actually the channel chasers one; for one the first episode shows snippets from the original episodes, and in a later one, cosmo says with their last godchild they were stuck in a fishbowl for what felt like years, and wanda says it was "technically only 7". if you do the math, timmy is 10 in the original show, and in channel chasers he has his godparents until he is 17, losing them at 18. The bus driver has been confirmed to not be timmy so it is just timeline A.

We see that instantly warping the world 50 yrs in time *wasn't* good at all, everyone noticed they were 5 decades older and not looking at it as a gag no one could work the technology that was now present in future B's dimmsdale, it's honestly a good thing timmy fixed things at the end of the special
I think prime timeline is canon but some of the seasons after that are the events in timmys life that hadn't happened yet. Remember he keeps the fairy's until he is 18 so he knows when he will have to say goodbye. Wishing to not age probably was a result of the channel chasers where Timmy more or less lied to Cosmo and Wanda for he had already told Cosmo he didn't want to age at all.
That however doesn't mean what we saw at the end in 20 years into the future didn't happen for at some point after the wish is made Timmy grew up.

A bit later into a New Wish, def think that it's probably a Timeline E. Born out of a divergent wish or action done in Timeline B (Maybe Timeline B and D are the same tho).
It has a lot of callbacks and the showrunners mentioning Channel Chaser's future yeah. But the CC future has a degree of tech and character statuses that don't really line up with A New Wish's far more contemporary take on the 2020s.
So personally, I say it's a Timeline E spun out of some major event relating to Timmy's final wishes as a godchild (thus why A New Wish has so many new Rulz that are pretty much explicit references to Timmy's actions in the OG series)
