Good to see a review by not only a fellow Aussie, but just a bloke who likes to game. I've been looking into headsets and a lot of them seem to be done by audiophiles, which I'm not, and it's easy to get lost in all the tech specs, things like "deep bass", "balanced midrange", etc. I just want a headset I can get on my noggin, wear all day long with issues, and be able to use on both my, soon to purchase, PS5 and PC, as well as phone. As I've spent the last day or so researching headsets, you might be interested to know the the 'lift to mute' function is basically the norm across many products now. As of today, 3 April 2023, EB Games has the H7 on special for $199.
Yes the h7 sound is way better than the 3d pulse. The 3d pulse don't buy they always break or ear padding wears out within 4 to 5 months. They are cheaply made.
Hey mate, how is the noise cancellation for inzone? Does it pick background noise in game chat? Thats is the only blocker for me to buy this right now.
Does the H7 have a headset app on ps5, like the one i had years ago? (Ps3 pulse wireless one with the black piano finish) And is this H7 upgradable with firmware updates, like the ps5 controllers?
My turtle beach mute the same way , I was wondering more on the sound on both of these do the inzone sound better? I know you can adjust the EQ on a ps5 app but can you adjust the inzone EQ and if not does it bother you ? cheers
Thanks Wog! Yes both wireless! Good question on the battery life, I usually charge them after each session so not exactly sure on the total life. Will do some testing and keep you updated my man!
3d pulse is very cheap ear padding. I went through two and padding last 4 to 5 months then the ear cups start to come off. Sound is great but they don't last long.

Thanks mate. I actually like the lift to mute feature now I'm used to it!
I returned the pulse for the h7...way more comfortable.
agreed!
Good review, I have the pulse 3d and the speaker is peeling in less than 1 year and I wanna new headphones but I think I'm going with the steelseries
Steelseries is a great bit of gear
Is the sound quality on h7 much better than the pulse 3d? Thanks mate
Yeah didn’t get that part either

Thanks for the video 👊🏻
Thanks for watching
Great review I have both sets of these headsets 👌👌👌
Thanks mate! Appreciate it

I don't believe it has an app mate and I also don't think it has firmware updates. Mine certainly hasn't requested an update

I took me some getting used to but I'm liking it now!
Does the inzone line up fits with the PSVR2?? 😎
Great question! Yes it does mate. You can wear both comfortably
Does the H7 still have the same 3D audio like the pulse headset?
Yep it absolutely does mate. Supports the tempest 3d audio tech on ps5
Nice review mate! I do have a question tho. Are they both wireless microphones? What it’s the battery life difference?
Thanks Wog! Yes both wireless! Good question on the battery life, I usually charge them after each session so not exactly sure on the total life. Will do some testing and keep you updated my man!
@@ardentvision6900 thanks mate
which one would you suggest when playing story games? with the tempest 3D audio on? also which would be better with content/movie viewing?
The new INZone for sure. Much more comfortable for longer sessions!
@@ardentvision6900 thank you so much for clearing that out 👑
