Thank you cuz! I'm always happy walking out there looking for characters even when its cold. You just never know what you'll find! Haven't seen Mr. Bobcat in a while but he leaves his calling cards in places I can find them.

Thanks Thomas! There are many benefits to slow motion, we get to see more details and the mechanics of motion plus it reduces the appearance of shaking for handheld shots. I'm waiting for Nikon to release a 240 frame-per-second camera so I can see even more detail.

That was great! The slow motion shots of the hovering kinglet and gnatcatcher were particularly entrancing.

Thanks! Yea I too kinda got hooked on looking at this stuff in slow. Its like discovering another dimension, so now I want to slow everything down and see what I'm missing! The kinglet was at the fence in the overflow parking lot. Nice little bush there to find bugs and birds. I don't know if you noticed but the audio has dropouts. Drove me nuts. I migrated to Davinci Resolve (you recommended) today to see if that would help.

Thanks for stopping by Lorie! The March-April episode opens with a brutal gator battle (no casualties), the new colt, the Fulvous guy...the stilt..the snipe...um...the purple martin. I think that's it so far.

Often too good! I definitely think I need better clips to match the magnitude of his talent. I make a small donation for every song I use and last Christmas he wrote me back with a personal message! A man of the people he is :)

Another great video. We were there a couple of weeks ago but it was during the week. Great place to see nature and your videos do a great job of capturing it.

Sorry I missed you! There is quite a bit going on here and it constantly changes. This time last year we had much more duck varieties and ospreys. While we lost the ospreys and some ducks, we do have a pair of snail kites who are now regulars at the back of the park. I'm using the Merlin app now which has been a big help in knowing what I'm filming. How are things at the parks near you?

@@bob-cat Wish we lived closer to Sweetwater Wetlands Park. We only get there a couple times a year but it's always a great visit. We did see the Snail Kites and also visited La Chua Trail where we saw several of them. Parks near us -- pretty good these days. There have been many rare birds this year. Last weekend we drove out to Fort Morgan, Alabama where a White-tailed Hawk had been hanging out. We managed to photograph it. I made a few video clips from our visit to Sweetwater. I'll hope to get time this week to edit and post them.

@@billg7036 I have yet so see the White-tailed Hawk. Right now I am trying to film the Barred Owl and Northern Flickr. I can hear them with the Merlin App but haven't seen them yet. But eventually I think if I visit often enough I will be able to film them.

Hey I hope you are doing ok! Being around animals or outdoors gives me some therapy too. I didn't think these videos would be a "pick me up". I think you'll like the next one I'm working on. I should release it in a week or less.

Thank you for watching and subscribing! It is getting a bit harder to find music that fits the situations, but sometimes the search turns up something cool. Scott Buckley composes just the kind of music I've been looking for.

supports nature videos well but everyone has his own idea on that!! Greetings Gijs

Thanks! Still shaky video, no time to setup tripod. Tried to balance the lens on the fence. I'll keep trying to find & film them without disturbing them.

Maybe because I know this place very well but I find the music a little too dramatic.
    The videography is fantastic though.
