    You can dig trenches around the ends of the plastic mulch them cover with dirt to prevent the wind from tearing it.

      Thanks for the tip! That's exactly my method. Rocks were for a quick solution to keep each bed covered and discourage weeds, until the wind calmed for proper restoration.

    When you do weeding in Jamaica what do you do with the weeds, do you burn then, how do you destroy them?
