For the people that’s having trouble, you don’t have to change your compatibility, change the dxgi.dll file to d3d12
This will apply to GTA story mode only. If they are willing to play GTA & FiveM both, they'll still have to do the compatibility change.
do you mean just change the name or?
Some people are facing issues when they're changing the dxgi name to d3d12 as it stops their Reshade to work, or making the game crash due to other graphic mods like NVE. I'll still recommend going with method described in video to surpass such issues 🙂

@@overdosegaming8874yes it works. Change the dxgi.dll to d3d12.dll (or d3d11.dll if that doesn’t work). It should let you run reshade without the lag if ur computer can take it

First solution no longer works as Rockstar has removed support for Windows 7/8 systems, second solution does not work either. I did get the 4.9.1 version to work, but lost all my effects.
Only solution that made me fix it. Really helpful. thank you a ton!!

I was using NVE+Reshade, for the preset, I've a bunch of exclusive presets that i use for my videos 😊

The real issue is the base reshade without add on support isnt compatible anymore with GTA. Just download the other version and youll be all set. Thanks for the help!

Switch back the compatability mode changes and install Reshade with full add-on support and you're good to go 😎

This method is just supposed to be used with GTA story mode, I've shown other method in the video as well in which you need to download and install Reshade with full add-on support. In that method, you don't need to change the compatibility mode to Windows 7 😎

Have you watched the complete video? You havent! I'm telling the 2nd method at 14:15 which will help you fix it without the compatibility tab changes.
Rockstar no longer supports windows 7. When starting the game up the screen is just black, but there is audio...
That's one of the fixes. You can go with other one in which I installed reshade with full add-on support and that works absoulutely fine.
@@Addiefied turns out it was just a shader that just needed to be turned off and it was fine 🙌🏼

Change the reshade preset you're using and untick the shaders you're putting in. If you put too heavy shaders on it, it will cause performance issues.
How do I get the reshade to go to Rockstar Editor? Because I recorded several times and entered the Rockstar Editor, after I Exported, the Reshade had no effect.
Hi there, to have your reshade presets and graphics mods in your footage, , there's only one way out at the moment. You will create the complete footage and do the edits, play it in rockstar editor while recording it on OBS. This way, you'll have your footage with the graphics mods, hope this helps 🙂
Not working for me! If I change the Compatibility settings then the Game Crashes immediately after I start!
Could it be because I have GTA 5 on Epic Games!? I have seen these fix videos and all of them have GTA 5 on steam!!!
It doesn't matter if you have it on epic or steam, the files actually remain the same. Well, you can go for the 2nd fix and that will surely work in your case, cut the dxgi file from GTA directory and paste it into plugins folder of your Fivem 🙂
Hy i installed reshades for gta 5 but it showing only 4 effects rest are. Not showing i also done select to path but it only showing 4 effects
Once you select the right shaders and textures folders in the Reshade menu, you need to put ** (two asterisks) in the end so that it fetches textures and shaders from all the sub-folders.

Im not sure if this is only an epic games issue or what but if the fixes shown are not working rename your dxgi file to d3d12 this fixes reshade, but currently my enb is not working idk if this is connected or a different issue.
ENB is a different thing.

WE NEED AN UPDATE. Renaming Reshade won´t fix ENB+Reshade. Windows 7 compability mode will stop working in 23 days. And asi method like in NFSMW2005 would not work, because online would not start with asi scripts.
It's very simple and explained in the video as well. Just install Reshade with add-on support and that'd work with your GTA-V without any issues.
@@Addiefied No, It does not work. ENB+Reshade won´t boot and your problem is another one, it doesn´t fix Reshade only as well. Compability mode will stop working in 23 days. The problem is not a Reshade version, it is a dlc.

@@Addiefied Reshade only works, but GTA needs both enb and reshade, otherwise (online) looks like dried tear filter.

@@Addiefied When I install reshaders and win 7 in gta.exe and playgta.exe and run the game from playgta.exe it loads rockstar and tells me pending and when I try to do it in epic it's the same thing.

Reshade is working for me but I have crash problems. If Reshade is installed , then I have random in-game crashes. The game load well , but after that at some point the game freeze and then crash. If I uninstall the Reshade then everyting works fine. Someone pls help me!
What version of reshade are you using? Are you using it with fivem or in GTA story mode?
