    Thanks Nicole this is super helpful! Sounds like this method of holding the blade of the chef’s knife also helps to reduce wrist strain and overuse.

    Very useful. I'd been honing wrong :) and it good to know the difference between honing and sharpening. You might mention how to know when honing is not enough and the knife needs sharpening.

      Thanks, Tom! We usually sharpen our knives at least once a year, maybe twice. It depends on how much you use them :)
