Just got the 5 and worked out in them the other day. Did my leg day. Belt squat, calf raises, Bulgarian split squats, reverse lunges and leg extension machine. The 5 is definitely an upgrade from the 4. Way better lockdown and I had the same problem with my foot if let’s say I was on the leg press machine my foot would slip forward in the shoe and it was kind of weird.
Did a back to back comparison with my project rock 3 and these. I found the 3s more comfortable and lighter. As the 5's are a oz and a half heavier. I also found the 5s to be really tight and short. Had to go up a full size. The 3s I went up half size and got a perfect fit. I did like the new tounge in the 5s and the extra ankle hold worked well as it held me over the midsole better than the 3s. All in all I would wait for these to go on sale if you already have the 3s or 4s.
They come in today. Just got my FedEx notification that they’re out for delivery. Hopefully they’re at least as good as the 4s. I have 5 pairs of the 4s and 2 pairs of the BSR.

So I have a red pair of the BSR1s and a black and white pair of the BSR2s. I prefer the BSR1s to the 2s. I like them both but the tongue on the 2s isn’t an all in one like they are for the BSR1s. And it’s very noticeable. However both are comfortable and more than suitable for weight training and light cardio at least for me. My overall opinion BSR1 > BSR2. As far as BSR1 or 2 vs Project Rock 4s, Project Rock 4 all the way. I will say that you mentioned in your video about the 5s being tight initially, I had the same issue with some of the 4s. I bought the same size in all colors but 1 of them, can’t remember if it was the maroon or blue, but one was tighter than the others on my first try on. I found it weird at the time because it didn’t make sense that one would be tighter than the others being they were all the same size but after my first workout with the tighter pair, they were just as comfortable as the rest. Love the 4s, my favorite lifting shoes thus far. I’ll let you know my opinion on the 5s once I’ve tested them. Also, the BSR feel lighter than the 4s at least to me.

For everyone watching this the pr4 and pr5 are the best in my opinion, i had the pr4’s for almost 2 years now and i must say they were my favourite shoes, now i just got the pr5’s and thoose are even better i must say, the traction and the lockdown are amazing. I recommend them both

I’ve had those iterations of them and have loved them! The 3s were super comfortable and still wear them from time to time as well. I saw that Under Armor had them for 30% off recently as well for $105 I believe.
I just saw that it’ll be released tomorrow in the U.S. as well! I’m debating if I should get them or not since I have the black ones already haha but they’re for sure going to be amazing!!!
The PR4s are a great shoe! Here’s why I would and would not get the PR5…I would get them if you are wanting to get an updated knit material at the top with an extra secure & stability focused shoe. I wouldn’t get them if your PR4s are in good condition still. Depending on price point, you could either get the new ones for $150 or the 4s for a reduced price. If I had to say yes or no…I would say definitely get them!
These feel a bit more stable around the middle of the feet but on top they feel more spacious so if I had to make a prediction then I’d say you should be okay with your normal size!

I agree! I didn’t know how they would improve upon the 4, but they definitely did! I’m glad the Project Rock 5 are working out well for you.

They are absolutely still worth the buy however the newer version is better overall from what I hear.

I wouldn’t get them if your PR4s are in good condition still. Depending on price point, you could either get the new ones for $150 or the 4s for a reduced price. I want these but my pr3’s were super snug and im nervous about these also fitting small. Im a 13 so i can’t go up cuz AU stops sizes at 13
