You sent me here from your recent burger video. That chili!!!! Thank you so very much for the recipe! When I was trucking and heading into LA, I'd always stop at the Barstow Tommy's (convenient dirt lot next door, complete with moon sized craters, suitable for semi trucks) to have a burger and get a large container of chili to go and just put that on everything for the next couple of days. Memories!
Drove by the Tommy's on San Fernando road yesterday. The memories flooded in. I'm totally going to make this recipe and re-live the yum. They also now have a breakfast burrito, that I'm going to get to try with this recipe.....
Massa harina is such a great idea for thickening Chili for a burger! I personally mix in a tin of refried beans and it works amazing too :)

LEGEND! Tommy's was a favorite of mine before I went vegan, and the chili was always the best part. So cool to see a vegan recipe for it.

All of the burgers I've seen on this channel look amazing. I've been craving a sweet and spicy burger like at whataburger. I'm gonna try to attempt these first.
I love chili cheese burgers! I never had Tommy's but I had the Carl's Jr one a lot. This variation looks phenomenal though and I'm going to try it very soon 🙂
If you're in LA, try Oki Dog's in on Sunset in Hollywood! They have a great chili cheese fries and burgers. And definitely try their Oki Dog, it's a food monster but a good one--same concept as a garbage plate.

We have a Tommy's in Illinois but it is mostly known for Chicago-style hot dogs and beef sandwiches. This burger still looks amazing, though!

While this looks very good and similar to the original, look at the ingredients in "better than bouillon". There are bunch of bad GMOs in it... Maybe something Organic??
