❤ Full Respect. I am sincerely grateful for conversations like these and all that Richard Grannon brings, spot on and brilliant. To you too, Sara Davison.
07:30 "The antithesis of therapeutic intervention." 💥 That hits the nail on the head in a way nothing else I've ever heard does. Spot on, Richard. 👏🏻 Thank you, both. Great interview!!
I have been spending my past year healing from narcissistic abuse. Doing so I realized every relationship including family members were narcissists. The hardest thing for me was the trauma bond and CPTSD. Which both carried over to the next relationship. Feel that I started showing the narcissistic traits as well.
I ended up having my life, job, and mental stability taken from me. Trauma Bond made me feel still so connected and made it harder to detach from the attachments.
I have realised the same - my whole family are narcissistic, every long term relationship was with a narcissist. It was hard to recognise this but now at least I know why my life was full of these relationships and the trauma bond. It started with my parents, especially my mother. I have no contact to any family members anymore.
I had a good looking vulnerable narcissist. Victim mentality as thought he was ugly. DV non stop impossible to report in moment. Run from these people. Total Liars and users
While I do draw much value from Richard's content, I would very much prefer him not to state psychologically lensed victimhood in that strange whiny voice which indicates the person talking might be gay. It does throw a bad light on a community that's already fulfilling enough of their own cliches. Nota Bene: I don't say that's what he does, intentionally, but I would much rather have him explain that anecdote behind that just the statement in "his" voice or picking a different mode of explanation.
I didn't hear it that way, and never have. It's his sarcastic voice I believe. I would probably come across as a hillbilly redneck in my sarcastic voice lol.
@@Bronek.Konarski Dziękuję bardzo, Bronek. Why I suppose s.th. like that? Because I'm no Valley Girl, for one, nor do I like it when gays are being made fun of, obviously. But kind Hayley, here pointed that out already, so I don't really see how your comment, now, would be helpful. Now I don't have to die stupid and you even have an answer. We're all winners 🤪😄
Yeah i don't think he has the proper accreditation to use that title about himself does he? He's only ever said he has an undergraduate in phycology right
@@ANANDALEEMAyes but pretty sure an undergraduate which in the UK to hold the title phycologist requires several more degrees more than that. Like I have a degree in accounting but I cannot call myself an accountant I would need additional post graduate work plus successfully completing required testing to obtain certification

He’s mimicking the stereotype of a Los Angeles valley girl

Yeah, it's not a gay thing. Why would you think it was?
Sorry, couldn't resist! 😁

Richard thinks pretending to be a psychologist is “ a dreadful thing “. Meanwhile, that is precisely what he has been doing for decades…
Feel better?
What I especially appreciate about Richard is that the irony would not be lost on him, to the degree that it would even be funny.

He is not pretending, he has a degree in psychology.
