How often do you need to replace the filter? I’m sure it’s based on how hard your water is so I’ll ask you on how hard you would classify your water. For reference, my water is pretty hard and full of minerals.
It's probably the dry water built up over time. You may need to tap the edges (similar to a tight jar) to loosen the debris. Please share us your updates!
@@relatablecontentcreatorsTHANK YOU SO MUCH OMG! For the past hour i’ve been looking at videos on how to replace it. I got my Jolie starter pack (shower head & filter) in November 2023 and signed up for them to send me a filter every 3 months since it needs to be replaced every 90 days. So now it’s April 2024 and even though I got the new filter in February, I completely forgot to put it in and realized yesterday that it had been 3.5 months since I was supposed to replace it and forgot lol. I was just looking at videos for an hour and everyone unscrewed theirs so easily, i could not get it to budge no matter how hard I twisted. I saw ur response to this comment and i tapped the edges of it over my sink and the nastiest looking water came out, It was dark brown. right after that i cleaned the nasty water out and it came off easily! ^ That showed me that the unfiltered shower water in my area is DISGUSTING and that i am always going to stop on top of replacing it every 3 months from now on! you just saved me so much time! I have liked this video, watched it all the way through 4 times, and subscribed! THANK YOU SO MUCH MY FRIEND :)!!! (sorry for the long response, just wanted to show my appreciation!)
You would need a wrench. Or maybe even 2. One to hold the bolt securing the shower head and the other to hold the pipe from the wall. But in these cases it may be best to contact a plumber. From past experiences I've caused permanent damage on the pipe itself by twisting too hard. If you're renting or live in an apartment, it may be best to call a plumber, because any plumbing or water damages can impact your neighbors or the building itself.
What helped for me was putting it on the floor facing down and putting both my feet on both sides. Then I used my hand to twist it off and it worked without damaging it
Thank you. Quick and straightforward. I managed to replace mine in min 🙏
Thank you for your kind feedback ❣️

Thank you 🙏🏼 very descriptive 🎉❤
Thank you very much for the kind words!
It’s not necessary to take off the whole shower head to replace filter….fyi
Everytime I try to do without taking whole thing off it gets stuck and I don’t know why 😭

Ugh, so I have my shower head off but I can’t get it open to change the filter - it’s stuck. I’m not sure what to do.

Lefty loosey..wiggle right..left a couple of times. Just make sure you have a firm grip on the unit so you don’t put pressure on the pipe.
@barrysimon1194 yes please be careful of not damaging the pipe!

Yeah mine is really tight also. My wife and I tried and it is super tight

@@ashabarry6905 hope your feet were ok!
@@ashabarry6905that worked for me! Thanks for sharing!
@@ashabarry6905This worked! Thanks.
Why pull the full head off? Just open it while on the downspout…
Can possibly damage the wall or pipe
You can just twist off the head not take off the whole filter
